New weapon idea's (i got 2)
Remote bomb - Comes with the scout class. but it cost 40 dollars for one ammo. When you lay a remote bomb, they look like a little grenade type thingey on the ground, but with some lil flashey light thing to make it look cool ^_^. But then once you lay it, the weapon in your S or D slot (which ever bomb was in) turns into the detonator. You have to activate the detenator, then blow the bomb up. it takes away a fair amount of damage, and has a fair range.
my other idea: Trip Mine - Kinda like they got on era, but make it better :p same concept as era.. except better.. i dont think i really gotta explain it. maybe make it so it puts down two, so its like O-------------O O is one of the little thingeys. then the ---'s are the laser. when walked over then they both explode, ( they would also blow up remote bombs incase you layed a remote bomb near it.) ammo cost 20 bucks for 1. the laser mine i made it to where you can also put it on a wall, this way the lasers aren't shootin' in the air :) and there should be red lasers that go out as far as the chaingun goes. stats(trip mine/laser mine): damage: 20-30 (does more damage the closer you are to the actual mine) it should stay on for 15 min. until it starts hurting team mates stats(remote mine): damage: 25 takes up 2 hands, 1 hand for bomb (S) and 1 hand for remote (D), and only explodes when you press D with the remote out. (doesn't ever kill team mates) |

well i was thinking to have the laser like this:
O--------O O = the mechanism thingey --- = the laser and yes the laser would be visible, otherwise it would be TOTALLY unfair.. they would both last untill end of the round, or they are blown up trip mine cant be blown up, but the remote bomb can, by any kind of grenade. |
do you like the stats i gave it? even though i shoulda left it up to you....cause it was ur idea :(

*EDIT* i just thought, maybe amp up the damage for the remote bomb, or make it so you can lay multiple, cause they will cost alot :p |
Remote Bomb (or remote mine) should only be able to be blown up by the person who plants it via the detenater. The Trip mine should be set off by bullets passing through the beam, or gernades.

yea, but remote bomb, kinda like TNT, if a bomb blows up near it.. then it blows up too...
*EDIT* man, todays a good day i just thought again.. make it so you can buy multiple types of remote bombs, like HE Remote bombs: Ignites all nearby units on fire on combustion. Poision Remote Bombs: Sets off a poision odor, causing all nearby units to be poisioned. Poision effects include: Slower movement. 1/2 DMG per second. Even if they do not touch the gas they are still poisioned from the combustion. Frozen Remote Bombs: Freezes all nearby units upon combustion. Causing them to not be able to move for 8 seconds. |
eh maybe if the guy that planted them dies then they go awya becuse like someone could run ontop of your base put them down all around die then just blow them up from across the map once they get out of the drop ship :-/ kinda lame if you think of it that way or they could rig the latters by your base so you cant get down

thats exactly why they are gonna cost alot.. lol and make it so you have to see them to be able to explode them? that would be fair.
so far for the remote bombs we got Remote bomb: Damage: 30-40 Radious: 1/6 screen size? Effects: Damage. Must be able to see to detonate. Cost $50+ Lay up to 5? Explode upon grenade inpact. |

no way you could have a trip, theres not other objects for it to reflect on (like 2 walls). it would just go into mindless distance through the map

laser mine jsut looks like a Proxy mine, and Remote does look like a mine, but some kinda Pill lol

ok, here is the new laser mine, and maybe when you place a laser mine down, you'd have to walk in a straight line, until you put another down, and then you'd have 5-10 sec. to move out of the way before the laser came on.
this way the laser has to connect with something......does anyone like this idea? or the new laser mine gfx? |
well, i wonder if anyone is even gonna script it and put it in the game? but eres a version of the trip mine i made, i mad 4 different color lasers too, for if you do different colors for each team. ^_^
