Bomboria Pub...dumb rules
 

I got pillored by Sam the other day because Sam's pet, Gambet went and told on me for playing my war horn in the pub.. Claiming i was disturbing others. I would just like to point out that the warn horn is an npc specifically made to be played. It serves no other purpose. I should not be restricted to being able to play it in certain areas. What if i want to play it while in the pub buying stuff like everyone else? All they have to do is turn sfx down on audio in general options and the problem is fixed. It will not interupt any other sounds on the persons computer. Personally i think this is just an example of Bomboria staff looking for dumb reasons to pillor peoplle. I understand when someone gets pillored for using magic in trade because when you cast it says its not allowed. Therefore casting a spell is abusing a bug. I am not abusing any bug by playing my horn. I should have the right to play it anywhere i want to. I am not breaking ANY rules what so ever. They have the option to ignore it.

I must agree with Deo, and not just because he's my friend. Although the war horn is terribly annoying, playing it anywhere is not against the rules. Like Deo said, if it bothers anyone, they can turn the volume down. It's the same with masses. If it bothers anyone, they can turn masses off. PKing- if it bothers someone, they go to peaceful mode. If you pillory someone for being annoying, then you'd have to build more pillories, enough for half the server or more.

This is a stupid idea anyway, giving more people some power to abuse.

For every day that I work in the pub, there is always someone that is running around, harassing the other customers and staff of the pub. To tell you the turth im rather tempted to run to Samurai and start pilloring people for harassing me. GK doesn't even have a really active staff member to control these people. Maybe we just need security that can kick someone out for a day or so...

Raziel makes good points as well. And why does it matter if i was asked to stop. Why can i play horn anywhere else on the server and not get in trouble except for the pub. It can be annoying in trade, it can be annoying in farming, it can be annoying anywhere but it only matters in one building. That is bs to me. And like i said they have the option to ignore

It is annoying as hell, and you're doing it just to piss people off / bother people. That is disturbing others, it's against the rules of GK. Deal with it.

This shows that you wanna provoke and don´t respect others. You are talking about the human Gambet not about an animal.

Right it´s a war horn. It must be escaped you, that the pub is a place of peace, we disabled PKing, and also pet´s are not allowed in there.
Playing a war horn is annoying the guests and so it isn´t allowed.
You have a lot of space outside the pub to play your horn. I think there isn´t anyone who take offence at your acting and so you don´t do it.

If you would know me you wouldn´t say that. I am always talk to the people to stop their acting, than I give them a warning and if nothing helps I punish them if needed.

Pillorys are a part of the role play, they are not a punishment if you cheating or so.
You break the rules of the pub when you don´t know how to behave in a restaurant/pub, nor stop it when pub staff aksed you to stop.

You have the option to stop it. Not ALL others have to put sound off, ´cos ONE have no behave.
And btw Raziel: same for masses. When some people need to discuss personal problems or mass insults they act against rules.

Sorry, but thats also not allowed. Sending someone in kingdom pillory for acting wrong on main (except it´s a kingdom specific part of your kingdom and the person is a member).
We dont need more staff to punish people, we only need people that treat with respect.

It could be that they have it as a standard key on their keyboards, or maybe they're just using the charmap.

I have a german keyborad, because I am german and these inverted commas are looking so : ´`. I don´t have others.

Are you sure? I've seen plenty of Germans using standard apostrophes.
