Other thread (continued)

The other thread wasn't a justified closing at all. Maybe someone might discuss trying out? Don't just close threads because you want to, please. It's not appropriate moderating.

What are you talking about? I asked about the hirees. That's all I did; you're the one being abbrasive.

Now, I'd like to discuss (along with the general populace) the future of 2k1 now that we have the news and so forth, which is why these forums exist. You need not close these threads, since they don't violate any rules on their own.

I was right about there being no good applicants though.

Dude, that is totally against the rules.

You're looking at it the wrong way.

If a completely innocent thread which is breaking no rule is closed, then the recreation of the thread can not logically be against the rules, because had the rules been respected in the first place by the person who closed the thread, there would not be an issue with the rules being violated.

This kind of thing stopped working when Kaimetsu quit.

Well that's dissapointing, but I can't blame people for not wanting to work on 2001 since it's been dead for so long. Half of these people probably don't even remember it. Oh well, it seems as if the only people who would work there would be ones who remember it, and seemingly the last 2 willing (Excal and I) aren't working there anymore.

Oh well... we still have our great memories... or something corny like that.

It would be great if Graal2001 would be a classic playerworld, if players get to see it the chance would be bigger for some good scripters or level makers to appear and help, and I am sure there are some people (good, what about Loriel, did you forget him or what?) who are willing to help out until a team that will continue the work has been found.

I find it extremely stupid how scared mods just lock/delete topics they see as a threat to them or a threat to something they can't handle. Very angering.

I just want the god damn server back :(

Yep. If VT keeps breaking the rules, I'm going to have to ask a supermod to institute some sort of punishment.

Refer to the rules. If a thread is closed, you do not remake it. You do not play backseat-moderator and try to tell others which threads are allowed to be remade after being closed or not.

Also, this hardly was an innocent thread. It's just another of your childish attempts to cause trouble for me and advance yourself as a managerial candidate. You have no personal interest in this server aside from becoming its manager - I would advise you to occupy your time elsewhere, for that is not happening.

I find it extremely stupid how incompetent people make such laughable accusations against moderators because they can't handle them closing a thread. Very angering. Scared, of VT? Man, that's funny.
