Wonderful comments :D These will probably improve his gfx skills alot! :D Try to shape it more like a fish, and use paint for shading ;) That kind of shading doesnt look good at all.

Well, I'm not that great at drawing, but there are plenty others who are, and a few who have some free time on their hands and would be willing to help someone start out learning how to do graphics.
But, what do I know, I'm just an old fasioned potato farmer from Wisconsin.
