FTP Access to Playerworlds
 

Read-only FTP access to playerworlds via the Admin-Playerworld# account would be nice :D. It would make backing up a server a whole lot easier ;).

This is probably not in effect due to security reasons, but maybe access could be allowed only if the IP range of the Admin account is set.

I don't think it is secure enough; people can just mask their IP to be identical to yours.

I have also thought about that. I thought that it would be nice also.

Well -- If it wasn't only read only, we could finally get around to deleting those century old folders that shouldn't exist anymore.

It would just be easier with better back-up options in file manager such as right-clicking a folder and getting the option to download it all.

....And being able to delete an empty folder which isnt used anymore

Yes, an RC upgrade that makes the file browser have more features would also work :D.

Didn't something like this result in a bunch of scripts and levels from 2K1 being released?

It's too bad someone didn't have those and make a 2k1 server and develop it and make it rock.

What are you talking about? I have them. I walk around the PW to keep my memorys safe.

Perhaps an embedded client ftp, similar to the current file manager but more features more similar to regular FTP access.

Also, if anyone wants Graal2001 and Unixmad or Stefan doesn't mind me giving the old pack out I would be glad to send you it. Also, if you would like some old PW's I believe I have a couple of those aswell. Or about 30-40+ PW packs.

And Anyway:

Right-Click folder then click Save To and it should automatically rar/tar/or zip it and download it into your computer. ;-).

Also a right-click on the browser that backsup EVERYTHING would be good aswell.

And a newer RC which gives you the ability to customize (not pics) but the RC itself. As in Gscript1-2 scripting that effects the RC (not player rc).

Excuse me? I was harrassing noone, just making a statement, and indulgence regarding antigraalians? I dont think so, the guy should be banned from Graal forever and never be let back, let alone have a playerworld, but that isn't my choice now is it? No, it isn't, that was Unixmad's choice if I'm not mistaken.
Now, this thread isnt about me or Kuji, or my moral values, so I will end this here...but I suggest if you want to speak to someone about letting an anti-graalian roam freely around, you speak to someone else besides me because I don't get the credit for that....
