Return to Outsides
 

Okay so I've been working mostly on inside levels and I realized I havn't done any new outsides in a long ass time.
I decided that I would rebirth myself into Outside levels with some of my old favorite tiles that I used to use a lot. Theres no real style im just freestyling it, kind of out of practice but I still think it came out not bad.
I've been out of Outside Leveling for about 2 months now.
I might do something with the cliffs to jazz it up, maybe not.

I noticed that people don't really use those Jule tiles any more, so I felt like being original while still using tiles attached to my tiling roots of years back.

Not bad. Its a very clean level, but also.. kinda plain. Not seeing any obvious tile errors, which is always good. :-)

I guess it's set up decent, but I think I see why no one uses that type of cliff tile.

Sephiroth, and you call my detailing bad ^_^, like the originality with the Jule, will look nice once you sexi it up.

Sorry, I don't like the jules. I could possibley adapt, but they haven't grown on me yet. A tad bit more detail here and there couldn't go a miss either.

3/10? Come on, i've seen a hell of a lot worse levels than mine that are rated like 5 and 6. =/ I think you're just being an *******. x_x

That's why I barely ever use 1-10

Crono practically rates everything 4-6, even if it is horrible, or really good.

1-10 doesnt really tell anything, its better to just say what you like and what you don't

Why don't you try and change the jules to real cliffs, and see how it turns out?

The jule tiles can look good if done right, just like the cliff tiles...I like the level, the jules just need some detail on top

Yeah the point of the level was to reuse Jule Tiles not "real" cliffs, as you so blatantly put.

Well, the point didn't really work out. It's quite the unsightly.

Just so.. I mean, the tiles alone are horrible in my opinion, but the level itself doesn't really show anything original, or hell, any use at all. What would that level be for? One of those annoying ****in levels where you run up, you can SEE your target, but you have to go 30 screens >>> to get there? Simply put, useless. :\

I rate things harshly, even my own levels get a 5/6. 7 would be impressive, 8 sexy, 9 or*asmic, 10 godlike

hmm I'd rate 7/10 depends what the map is used for but good usage of the 'Jule' Tiles definitely.
