Even more table glitchy fun

Okay. I am fed up with the stupid table glitch. Last night, a guy with the account name Vyse1 (Alias "Amaku," alias "Kenshin") put his stuff on the table, logged off for about a minute or two, and then logged back on to use the table glitch. I am now missing a Shield of the Sun which (unless compensated for) I probably will not be getting back unless someone out there *cough cough* Stefan *cough* has the kindness in him to serve up some justice to this (self-proclaimed) well-known scammer who, by the reports of Mirkwyn, also enjoys impersonating other GK members such as himself. This has gone on for far too long, and I'm sure that other people who've been greatly scammed in the past share the same resentments for the trading tables that I do.

It would be nice if a little menu popped up after you hit green a menu popped up with the items on both side of the table, not on top of each other either and said "Do you confirm this trade?"

Slash-P2P 04-06-2005 05:23 AM

Or the table queries the playerś online status before the transaction.

Or, as is expected in a not-so-distant update the table returns the items to the player's account when then transaction expires, regardless if they're online or not.

yes,he plays on another account to called micheal_jackson and impersonates accounts names and scams people...I thought that was illegal(impersonating accounts)but he never got in trouble.I hope justice is served.

Only impersonating staff is.

Draenin 04-06-2005 10:05 PM

Getting "justice" on GK is like asking for a 7-course meal in the sahara desert.

Shut your filthy stink hole, you wretch. I'm not staff anymore and I tried to help, so don't be so quick to judge.

Shouldn't be that hard if you have a cellphone. Heck, you might even get it for free if they don't deliver it in X minutes.

lol, calm down.

XGoLink 04-07-2005 04:47 PM

Your telling us the wrong story, Dreanin, he just accepted, pressed red and got on the table, then you pressed green and so did he and then he got the items for free... ;)

Draenin 04-08-2005 09:45 AM

Cool down, Zero. That comment wasn't aimed at you.

And Link, I suggest you actually get your story straight. I did not accept AFTER he clicked red, then green. When I accepted, the flag had moved over for at least 15 solid seconds. He used the glitch where you log off for a few minutes and the item goes back into your inventory. Then he invited me to trade at bomb. I had no clue that he logged off, then back on until he actually took my item.

Let's all side with a level twelve (or so) with a previous record of scamming that impersonates other people to get rare items and claims to be under several aliases known for scamming. Brilliant plan.

Zero Hour 04-11-2005 10:14 PM

The person who scammed you is, indeed, Kenshin. Some of you may remember Kenshin as a large scammer from a while back. He's had other accounts which scam. I will try to recall those, until then avoid trading with "Vyse1".

'Tis a pitty that some people lack the control they need.

The following accounts have been used by Kenshin, they were linking using IP. For safety reasons you should avoid transactions with the following accounts:

* blkeagle12
* lufia1
* playakenshin
* master_buffness
* vyse1
* mysticalmage
* paladaincecil
* rydia1
* cloudzakuto

I hope this will save some people trouble.

I'm pretty certain that someone named Kenshin who also scammed a lot had the account blkeagle12. I think all the blkeagle's on the Samurai blacklist are his.

rofl that guy got owned :D

GK needs a police force damnit, with some "rp" jail where you're trapped and its impossible to get out unless the police open a gate or so.

Splke 04-12-2005 08:25 AM

There are ALOT more accounts then just that , the scammer InuYasha was Kenshin as well.

Not to mention a big-time player (whos scammed gear was long forgotten) is Kenshin, but I'll let him keep playing in his little dream world. :D

XGoLink 04-12-2005 06:52 PM

Stefan likes it when this happens so people like Kenshin buy 50accounts :(
Anyway, I have a suggestion; If you log off, your items go with you..

AlexH 04-12-2005 07:01 PM

If you know about the table bug why use the tables?
You know something like that could happen, you took the risk and lost.

Zero Hour 04-12-2005 08:22 PM

God, people. There are a few easy steps to not being scammed:
  • Don't loan your gear to people.
  • Check the trade items, if they say "unpaid" at the end then they're attempting to scam you.
  • Use your brain, LOL!!1!
