Pirate ship fixed
The new version is now out for one day,
any bugs or problems found? Beside the new features we have remade like 50% of the internal engine of the Graal client, good when its working so good. The pirate ship is fixed, the warping works better now and it doesn't go into houses anymore. It also checks if its on water. You must control it by grabbing the control wheel and then pressing up/left/down/right to move the ship. Say 'leave' to get down and 'stop' to stop it. Because its too hard for bomy players to enter the boat from the side, they can just get onto it by touching the ship. |
I love the saxophone but if you play a note for more than a fraction of a second it sounds very odd and high pitched. I think it is a problem with the looping. Is there any way we can improve the sound?
|
i still say u should use my idea of certain players can use them, it is better for people who lagg allot. and it keeps fighting on the ships down
|
stefan: may i suggest coding a built-in on the fly midi engine to graal?
that would be neat, that way we would not need sax wavs but just saxaphone midi sound and it could be done automatically that would make for hundreds of instruments easier, you could just make graphics and ganis then say what sound it makes or something |
Graal really needs a built-in sound player. It lags horribly after it plays sounds for a while, even on my 1ghz machine >.<

The whole pirate ship or the small ones =/

Stefan I had a idea for large pirate ship
Since theres small boats now maybe the ladder to the pirate ship could be removed and the only way to get on the pirate ship is by getting on a small boat and driving to the pirate ship and jumping on =) but that could start one small problem 1: finding a boat to use to get on ship |
plus when someone else goes in the boat, they can comtroll it.
We'd never get to our base cap'n. Maybie we could have something where if there's a pirate on board they have to say let (insert name here) board to let them onto the ship. |
well i = my idea (my impression of huggles) and i want to be a pilot, plus i derserve it for being the first to move a boat to sliverston's sea
|
thats why each kingdom would have a boat (each boat looking rather different) and a public boat

Stefan there is still a glitch with the smaller boats, if you leave the boat, and then get back on slightly, you can walk on the water, around the boat..Like in the screenshot here....

As I said in Bug Reports:
hidelocal; showimg 0,stone.png,32,32; does not work, whereas without hidelocal it works fine. And you didn't use my new spiffy pics1.png! >_< |

all of the following boats can't move beyond 1 or 2 levels and cannot go very far to the left, see screenshot
|
yeah, I ran across the boats earlier, I couldn't figure out ANY way to get them unstuck so I just left them there.
|
working boats
only 1 working boat, but that one is usually taken over by soem jesus freaks guy. I don't know maybe I should just hack someone's rc account and fix it myself!!!! *goes and does just that*

Jesus Freaks? Do they go around praising Jesus or do they have Jesus in their names? Because for example when I took that screenshot, several minues before that a few of us had Jesus in our name as a joke because we were walking on the water.
