Japanese or English Ranks?
 

Should we have Japanese ranks or English ranks?

I'm putting in a vote for English ranks, because they're more well-known so it's easier to determine a person's status by reading their rank, particularly for someone not in Samurai. But I realise that I'm hopelessly outnumbered.

What did G2k1 Samurai use? And what were some examples of their ranks?
If the majority of oldbies from there think it went well and will work well now, I think it's best to respect that.

The English Ranks look like you're Dustari Jr.

Merge the two. Instead of Lord have Daimyo, but keep Lady. Keep Emperor, Empress, etc.

There were also ranks of "Samurai" and "Archer", and I think there was a "Priest" rank (And by default also a "Priestess" rank, but there were only like, three people in that area and they were all male.)

Then that would mean Samurai becomes Dustari III!

Since when did Dustari have a monopoly on the English language?
