Psychedelic Abstract Stuff
 

I made these strange abstract drawing while listening to Psychedelica. The first one while listening mainly to Pink Floyd, the second one to the Beatles' Tomorrow Never Knows.

Althought the first one is mainly some pointless doodling, the second one has been thought over a bit. It would be a lot cooler if I could make some sort of flash animation of Tomorrow Never Knows.

Has anyone else her made any similar abstract psychedelic strange whatever stuff? I'd love to see it.

That's actually the point of Psychedelica. Psychedelics are a type of drugs (acid). LSD is the famous one, and a lot of famous artist made music while tripping (John Lennon, Syd Barret from Pink Floyd). There even are guides to tripping. I wasn't high when I made them though.

Yeah, they're more of some doodles as I said, except that the 2nd one has been thought over a bit more.

Abstract Art doesn't need talent. It's fine aslong as it represents nothing, and means nothing. Also, for his actuall talent: I bet you that you were once as bad as you say he is.

Abstract is about originality. I actually have never seen a piece of art that looks like his piece of art, so his idea was original, meaning it's a decent piece of art in it's self.

Your child vomits on the floor, in a frenzy of fear for your child's health and fair for your beautiful royal-blue carpet you grab a bucket and a wet rag and go to wipe it up, and all in one flash of the mind's eye your door is BUST OPEN! more men than you can count in the time it takes them to storm in are surrounding you with rifles, and full armour on. They scream for you to put down the rag, and you quickly do as you were told, now fearing for your health. The art police have come, and they're not going to let you ruin a beautiful piece of abstract art.

Whee, I'm an artist now.

Well, taking photos of vomit is very...well...sick, but it can still be classed as Abstract Art, or maybe Abstract Photography. As for the Abstract Police, that's the most ridiculous idea I have ever heard of, I like it :).

Well, if you carry on like that and make it larger, then it would be better, but yes, you are an Ascii-Abstract Artist. I thought you were already an artist anyway ;-)

This is art, the "abstract" stuff is not.

I think you're missing the meaning of art. Art just doesn't have to be a glorious roof or wall painting. It can be anything from a full-colour painting by Bob Ross to an Arrow in a Black box. Art can be anything, you just need to adjust to an eye of oppertunity.

Some people take abstract to an extreme and abuse it, but I'm a big fan of macabre abstractions.

I was speaking of Da Vinci's work, not that which Google displayed, I was just displaying it in a way which would zing.
