Whats so bad about Era?
 

I just want to know why yoo ppl dun play Era no more? Sure sum stuff is missing ut its fun :)

For me, it lags a lot and too many times I get reset.

If I wanted to play a shooter game, I'd play HL2.

You make no sence. Why would someone quit Graal because they don't like Era?

Why would he quit graal? He said if he wanted to play a shooter game, he would play HL2. NOt if he would want to play a sword fighting game, or any other theme.

Most people don't play Era who post on these forums. Pretty pointless thread.

Personally, I dont play Era because it doesn't feel like Graal to me, I dont want to be shot at or shoot other people, and I really dont like those types of tilesets....just personal preference x.x

Lemon, why don't you tell us what's so good about it for a change?

This is why Era is good.

It's scripting is not very Graal 3 friendly.

I played era, but after like what 3 resets it got boring... you know it will happen again.
Im not just interested in Era anymore as a server.

Out of all the people in this thread, I thought you had some idea on what was happaning, I guess I was wrong. We don't post updates on these forums because not many Era people use them. Just because Jenn isn't on her RC, doesn't mean she isn't working. When she was at Geo's (When her computer broke, she went to a friends) she asked me to send her some stuff from the Era RC to finish. She sure did finish them.

No more resets.

I wonder where/what you class Unholy Nation. Era people are actually intelligent, more then the average player.

You're the one changing N-Pulse into something it's not. (EoA).
Also, how can you play Graal if you don't pk. Killing someone with a sword is more gruesome then a gun.


I recently found a way to prevent the lagg on Era. Even with 3D lights. I'm going to be looking at more ways, and hopefully it will work. (It won't lagg much anymore)

1) Why are you attacking me and NP because of my personal preference? By the tileset, I meant I PERSONALLY dont like the tileset, meaning the roads, houses, and so on...it isn't Graal to me

2) I fail to see what NP has to do with this thread, but I will reply anyway...NP will NOT be EoA, it will still be NP...do some research before you make remarks on something.

3)Who said anything about PK'ing? I love to PK, but I prefer personally, to PK with a sword not with guns, never said anything about which one is more gruesome...I dont like using guns. (Again, my personal preference)

You do realize that in 2003 everyone considered Era and Unholy Nation to be the retard n00b pits of Graal? No joke.

I am pretty much repelled by the players and staff.

Well, at least on Unholy Nation, I can PM a staff member and say "Dude X is misbehaving! Do something please!" and they'll check it out. (Now that PWA have more rights, I can actually do it myself, but it's really not my job)

On Era, there is no such luxury as active staff. At least, in my experience.

I am online for more then 5 hours a day on Era. During this time I make money to host events (Buy event items like hats/guns/ammo ect). I also do my average 2 hour a day leveling/learning to script. Is it just me, or do the PWA have some personal issues with Era and Jenn? The only PWA who have asked us how we are is GrowlZ. HoudiniMan logs on RC, asks the staff if we are active, then logs off. Pronto, never seen you on Era RC. I don't think the logs have for that matter. Calani, she comes on once in a while.
I am aware this thread is about Era, I was talking about N-Pulse. You wrote a document for Wan(My identical twin brother), I saw the document and I decided to read it. In the document it said about EoA and N-Pulse.

Define what you mean by "n00b pits of Graal", Era doesn't have many trials play there. I talked to Stefan yesterday, and the server with the most trials are Zone, Graal Kingdoms and Unholy nation. There were around 300 people online, 50 of them being trials.

Why exactly the staff? What exactly did me and Jennifer do?
Also, why the players?

Each time I go on Era, I have to run away for 5-10 minutes from PKers. If Era players were more player-friendly, the playercount would probably be higher, but alas, you kill all the newbies, so they leave, leaving you no more newbies to kill.

Personally, I don't play any server in particular because I'm usually busy programming various things. I play Graal in the sense that I program, and programming for me has been a rather longtime hobby of mine. *shrugs*

Other stuff... I heard someplace that EoA gave up. The merge of EoA and N-Pulse is probably old news -- I think they decided against it at the end of the line. Not much to complain about.

The thread isn't serving it's purpose, as you're all caught up into personal discussions about your daily ranting amongst yourselfs. Oh...

Another reason I dislike Era is simply the gang system is a false representation of roleplaying. It's a sad excuse to group up players and attack themselves at higher level. -- Something I would do like to see is having team missions that they can partake upon. Perhaps an infiltration of a weapon facility, and destroying it before anyone finds out. Perhaps a called event, try to infiltrate a police station and free a gang boss or the likings.

Staff - I have bad experience with playerworld staff overall, and Era in particular. Last time I played, one of the higher-ranked staff (don't remember his name) kept abusing his powers to try to PK me, and I was completely ignored by the management of the server (excluding one o_O reply).

Players - it's hard to explain, but it feels that their intelligence is lacking.

No idea what you are talking about, but you totally missed the point I was making....This thread is about Era, not NP...if you want to make comments about NP, there are a few threads you can post in about NP....

I find the Era people rather smart. You place Israfel+Demisis onto your server, they will find a bug without a few days.
