Very Basic Outside Turtorial

1 Attachment(s)
I made this to help everyone who wants to start making outside levels, but has no idea how to begin.

It's fairly basic, but I kept it as simple as possible on purpose. Won't be much help to an experienced level maker.

Anyway, enjoy.

Not bad. :)

Ooh, turtle lessons.

Nice, would be good to have a few of these maybe built into the editor as examples - but more movie based maybe. With setfocus etc to control the players view. And maybe having a part the user can lay tiles down to try what they see. Although this would make it quite a complex project.

Actually something like that crossed my mind, but I'm too busy with other things to do that right now.

Maybe in the future.

How about a flash tutorial...

oinknessx 02-28-2005 03:38 AM

Flash tutorial would be best...

I'd love to do one, and I know basic flash so it wouldnt be hard, but I need 2 key elements

A) Motivation
B) Time

I'll maybe try to whip something up in flash in the future explaning all the steps of creating a LAT quality outside, but I need to get done with my work on NP first ;p

I got time and Flash MX but i need motivation x-x
