Guilds : new status (PreApproved)
 

A new status is available for new guilds : PreApproved.

Now, instead of having to have for 10 members, then wait for approval, you can be approved before having the required amount of members.

Once your guild is PreApproved, you just have to get 10 members. If you wait more than one month your guild will be suspended, then deleted.

This will allow you to get your guild activated as soon as you get 10 members in most cases.

So, this will make it quicker for guilds to be accepted to become 'active' ?

Yes. Exactly. That's why I did that (many people were complaining it takes time).

That is a wise addition, I'm pretty sure that threads containing annoying messages like 'omg tux active my guild plz' willl disappear now. :)

Are guilds automatically pre-aproved?
Or do you still need to pre-aprove them?

I think it automatically aproves it.. Then you would have to get a censor if it is automatically.. for bad stuff ;)

It's probably manually approvement, so we can check that the guild name is not containing bad stuff, but since it can be approved before having 10 members the guild will often be approved before actually having 10 members, and don't need to wait once it has 10 members.

It is just a way to allow both stages (approval and member collection) to occur simultaneously. And a good improvement, too.

I like this. It makes the Cult of the Winky get activated faster perhaps.

That's all that matters.. :frown: Now if only there was a way to get in contact with unixmad or stefan easier... maybe they can make a pre-approved pm list? :p Or maybe a list that sorts priorities by what the subject of the message is. :)

Heres an idea, even with Tux preapproving it will take till the next ice age. So heres what you do, make a system to check for bad words in every languge amaginable. So if i a guild is submited like "[Guild with bad words]" it says "Cant create: [Guild with bad words]" because it contains profranitys. Make it all automated so people dont ***** about the time it takes.
