My removal?

It has come to my attention that I know longer wield the banner of Dustari. Can anybody explain to me why this has happened?

Perhaps forum PM would be better but I have something else to add.

This other comment deals with the Knighthood system; it would be more proper to grant knighthood with a ceremony instead of just an instant promotion/award for that soldier of Dustari. Furthermore this ceremony should be done in the Cathedral to give that place of holiness more activity.

Edit: I have been active so I can't find a reason.

busyrobot 01-06-2005 06:56 AM

I'll look into it.

Sildae 01-06-2005 07:31 AM

Haha. You were discharged.

Splke 01-06-2005 08:15 AM

How's that funny?

Tis called irony.

Zurkiba 01-06-2005 11:45 PM

I was 'removed' because Lance kicked Larrien out because Larrien said toguild (and OOC I might add) that he should be active more. Lance wasn't even on at the time to mention it. So I got onto Lance.

So yeah...

I haven't said anything to any of the leaders that could be seen as disrespectful, I usually keep to myself working on books when playing and helping others if possible. My Paladin senses tell me there is some mischief going on.

To the Paladin-Mobile!

CaTigus 01-07-2005 01:24 AM

I really agree with Discharge. He was one of Dustari's best Paladin's, Removing him must have been simply impulsive. I haven't seen his face on the Dustari Guild List often, But he still made the holycode and put a lot of his free time into Dustari. Another chance should be given to him... He is one of the few people in Dustari who got involved as his character and not the person of who he is in reality. He also speaks many words of Kindness to fellow Dustarians and just basic people.

As to me -_-

GryffonDurime 01-07-2005 02:45 AM

If Dustari does not want one of their most FAITHFUL retainers, the Forest could surely employ the services of a Paladin.

Crono 01-07-2005 02:51 AM

What the hell? Discharge seems like a very wise and fit person for a kingdom that consists of knights. You would have to be a complete ***** to kick him.

Zurkiba 01-07-2005 03:02 AM

Yet again, it's one of those things where you cant kick a person out and say he's not in the kingdom anymore.

We all here would agree that Discharge is still a Dustarian yes?

Actually, no it can't. I wanted the rank of Paladin with Lance, but Chris told me "only one paladin".

You seem to forget things.

Discharge 01-07-2005 06:18 AM

Well I officialy have word that Zoe has removed me just as I suspect. I am just going to do a little investigation now.

If its inactivity, then I find this to be very unjust. We have just recently gone through the Holidays and therefore I of course like to spend time with my family and friends. I find it a little rude to remove me without any leniency simply because I have not as been active as before the holidays. As a senior member of this Kingdom, I would expect a little bit more compassion.

*sneeze*
Oh sorry I'm allergic to German Fascist scum, have you been in contact with Zoe recently?

middo 01-07-2005 10:07 AM

I think we need to run some Kings over with our Paladin-Mobile

=/

Splke 01-07-2005 11:27 AM

Zoe = King hahaha. She-male.

I would add Discharge back as paladin, But That's not my place to say weather he is Paladin or Not.

Zoe is not King, She is Queen. Padren is King. I find that insulting and obnoxious.

Evil_Lord_Sparda 01-07-2005 08:04 PM

I hope he wasn't removed because of inactivity. That always strikes me as pretty stupid as it really is doing no harm leaving them in. Anway, Discharge is definately a true Dustarian, even if he did leave when confronted with evil Necromancers (;)) and should be re-added..

Read the thread, and you'll understand why he said that.

Well I couldn't kill you as a Dustarian since you were also a Dustarian. (It would violate the Law Aftershocki put) We had to work outside of the arena to attack you. ;)

Khallos_2k2 01-07-2005 09:40 PM

Number of things:
1: Discharge is a Dustarian, get him back. Now. Or else. I mean it.
2: Stop bashing. Let's try and keep one forum totaly flame-free, why not our kingdom's forums? So if you don't belong here or have nothing productive to say, shut up and go somewhere else. Let the idiots bash elsewhere, keep this a sensible discussion. Discharge asked a questin, I'm guessing he wants an answer, not flames.
3: This seems to be more of a PM/forum PM/ingame discussion topic rather than a forum post.
4: Even in the unlikely chance that Zoe removed you with no reason, only one thing to do. Out-RP the leader of a Kingdom. However, from what I'm hearing, that may not be too hard... (Although I went on GK as my Doomship Fleet tag on my ex-gold-now-trial account and challenged the Pirate Governor to a sea battle as a joke, and he accepted in RPish style). Go to another Kingdom, get them on your side, go attack Dustari. If you win, you can be King pretty much. If not, you'll be banned from the kingdom forever (or unril you get a new leader)for being a traitor. But always look on the bright side of life.

Nappa 01-07-2005 10:03 PM

Haha.. Basically they demoted you and say "well to prove yourself you have to do all the things you made up yourself"

I totally agree and this is the plan.

As to your removal - that was an error on my part when changing ranks and will be taken care of immediately.

Sorry for the inconvenience :)

Queen Zoe Sagesun, Dustari

Well I'm in the Kingdom but I still have not had my title corrected. It still has me as a Cavalier.

I loved it back in the day when we were in Forest, living on the chilly mountian top, adding to the piles of books already in our house, trying to make a library. :) Many things I remember, but now I just see people running around with these damage +1000 weapons smacking everything.

It's called a tagwipe. If you knew ANYTHING about Roleplaying you'd know it's a necessary evil.
