Are all the letters shown with showtext going to be the same width?

Ex.

showtext 202,screenwidth/2+35,screenheight/2+10,arial,,Rank: BlahBlah Master;

Are all the letters in that going to be the same size?

Is there a command or something that I can get the width and height of the text?

Basically are each of the letters the same size so its easier to come up with an algorithm for width if theres no command.
