Just wondering...

Have you ever thought of, or have done, any transaction with real currency (such as U.S.D)?

Please only vote if you have played Graal Kingdoms a lot or play it a lot right now.

I've bought about... 900$ worth, and sold over 3,000 worth. Brad has accumalated over 2k , and hasn't bought any items. MarkB (supposedively) has made 5k or so, but I guarantee he's bought 1k or so worth. Torankusu sold .. maybe a 1.5k , I do not believe he bought any.

Geno.. I'm not sure.
Lithe/Chr1s/M1nt ; again , unsure.

It's sad cause people actually pay real money for intangible items.

I agree. I don't believe some people got their levels the legit way, and people got their items from "events". Wait for some staff to log on and watch the suck-up-ness in action.

xAndrewx 10-17-2004 05:43 PM

I think everyone know's a glitch they abuse who are a high level o_o.

Brad 10-17-2004 06:11 PM

you underestimate my earnings argo

Crono 10-17-2004 07:13 PM

Man I'd sell items anytime.

Slash-P2P 10-19-2004 08:02 PM

Errr most people said never thought about, bought, or sold items but you people are saying you've sold items?

Splke 10-20-2004 01:15 AM

People probably just opted a poll option, and didn't post.

Unpredlctable 10-20-2004 03:11 AM

A friend of mine made $300 off of several items... Jeez, and I thought THAT was a lot! 5000? That's just ridiculous, either way. I mean come on, it's just a game, right? xD

Brad 10-20-2004 03:56 AM

Ok, my very long, detailed post got erased when typing some how *pissed*

In a nutshell: USDing is a good investment. Whether or not an item is tangible it still takes time to obtain and a high standard of living doesn't only consists of how much you have but how much free/leisure time you have. I, for one, would prefer to spend a few bucks to obtain something from a game rather than waste 500 hours which can then be used to get back what I spent and then some. Did I mention items have re-sell value and usually appreciate?

MarkB 10-21-2004 12:44 AM

If people like buying items, why knock them for it? Aparently they think their money is well spent. I liked selling items, and people like buying items, so where is the problem? :)

One problem, is how people like you obtained those items.. ;)

Emily_Cruddas 10-21-2004 07:43 PM

The problem i see with it is the very hard to find or even a few event items will ONLY be sold for USD, i see that as unfair to folks that either cannot spend real money in that way, or they are kids and don't have a way to pay.

This is a pretty strong reson GK is ....how to say....not good.

Nidonemo 10-21-2004 08:14 PM

Yeah, using USD is quite foolish too, you have no idea what's gonna happen. :\

Splke 10-21-2004 11:39 PM

A strong reason as to why GK is no good is because of USD? Haha, your funny.

I would rather spend 300$ on perfect gear, than spend 2000 hours+ attainning such gear. It's easier for me, I can make back that money, and then some.

Yes, USD sales are risky, foolish, and quite frankly illogical (selling intangiable items? wtf)... but it makes Graal go around, and helps the kids who can afford it play. :P

Let's not forget corruption, *******s, and lack of creative gameplay are the sole reasons GK isn't "too good". Don't blame USD, Stefan legialized it.

They don't usually re-sell or appreciate because people beg staff for them until they get them, causing more to be on the market, and then they depreciate.

For everone who hasn't taken Economics class..:
Intangible - Something that cannot be touched (such as a service)
Tangible - Something that can be touched (such as a good)

Raziel 11-09-2004 08:33 PM

Hehehe sorry to revive this post but this must be said:

I don't know why people have such a problem with USDers. I mean, if you're playing this game, then obviously you paid a certain amount of real currency to play it, whether it be $28 or $50+ or whatever. Some just like to take it a step further ;) I've made about $580, and spent only $100.
