If you create a falchion of Poisoning (looks like a greenish vanadium blade) and wipe it with cancellation... it turns into a sabre when weilded... the kind of crude looking gray weapon.

Ever since alchemy was released yesterday, GK has been periodically disconnecting me. Sometimes it's 20 minutes apart, sometimes it's down to 2 minutes apart, but it is VERY annoying and it never ever happened before alchemy...

The robe of metal weave slows me down (as much as silver platemail and such) does...shouldn't it not slow me down at all, being a robe and all?!

Also, Ed's robe of displacement slows down just as much, shouldn't they not slow us down at all??

Alchemy items are "enchanted". If you cast cancellation on an alchemy item it gets rid of the enchantment, thus making it a useless, normal, weapon.

That makes no sense, yo. Alchemy has nothing to do with magic and enchantment, it's all about teh crazy sciencez0rs...? o_O

It's because of the 'of XY' part. This is added in the mudlib and when cancellation is used the mudlib deletes that and anything associated with it. I bet you can clean flaming swords of mass/Fear/Illrya/Lythander the same way.

No mang, im not talking about the system, im talking about the idea behind "alchemy" o_O

In the case of GK, it'd be like "haha, look, we can use crazy sciency **** to create the same effect as magic does!!! ahahaahahhaaaaaa *Sets hair on fire and blows up the alchemists guild once again* Did anybody get the number of that donkey cart?"
