wood tutorial. its excellent
 

im not sure about others, but ive always had trouble with wood. Id try to take the cheap way out like noise efects, and it doesnt work most of the time. well i found this great tutorial on it at this excellent pixelation website called zoogles.

here is mine after following the tutorial. and i only used 6 colors! very easy too.

Towards the back it's abit ****ed up, but based on the look and texture of it, it's great.

i like it but i use a diff type of tech but thats good ima show that to some friends

It's not bad at all. I wish the outside wasn't outlined, but a little smoother. Unless it's suppose to look that way, all pixelized and stuff.

yeah i wanted to keep the color count low, just to follow the tutoral, but i could hav used some aa'ing if i wanted
