The value of items
 

it seems to me that i'll be stuck without the best of all items for awhile, rings of war are so valuable to ppl i doubt i'll ever wear one on my finger unless i cough up 50 gold keys and my new shield (HSoD+10).


i had very good hopes of trading for one and now it seems the value has gotten higher, this is just me complaining i guess, i'm not sure what will be done about the ever growing prices on kingdoms, as ppl get better items they seem to demand more for them all.

I used to feel the same way all the time, since item collecting is the only thing to do, untill like the past few months.. I had only little valued items and what Nayoko could afford to buy and able to let me use.. Then I began to try every way possible to make plat.. more then like 20k and keep saving.. then go spawn EAs and sell them for diamonds.. it wasn't untill I saved about 200+ and able to buy a war axe.. and then I was able to trade for a Warhammer.. my first good weapon ever. And since then I worked for more better stuff.. Now I have dual row, FHOV+10, mith of berwean+11, hsod+9 and more stuff and alot of other weapons.. But.. I didn't complain.. before.. I just worked hard and hard.. trying to earn money...
But really I wish all this item concentration would stop.. and more of the purpose of GK would start. It's all this greedyness with being the best that has gotten everyone.. even me.. into this vicious cycle of item trading.
:frown: But untill then.. might as well enjoy what you can get and begin to work harder..

Maybe if all these items -weren't- rare and many available to alot of people, everyone would get bored of it..and start focusing on RP.

Well there was that one time not so long ago where someone duped a ****load of hammers, and stefan just went "owell, the retards that traded for them would feel upset because they are retards, so i won't bother removing half of them..." or something.

It was the agility hammer. It was my hammer afterall. Scream ended up trading some of his duped stuff for a Might hammer, blah blah.

Uh.. me, her, misty, meiko and all the other KJ members spent a 2 whole days working on making fortifications.. :/ Ask Meiko she dug up around 300+ tree seeds.

Not really, if you paid attention to the trading room you would of seen us buy them from people.

x-x nayoko does not have powers to spawn any items, jagen and lance do, thats about it realli, and bjorn, but thats cos he is Events Admin.

I don't play as a result of the cost of items.

The economy is far too blown up to make it possible. I don't want to spend months working to get fun, especially since it is rumored that eventually GK will get a reset.

@Dehitay, Perhaps they will.. But at that time I were an EM and GFX Maker for GK so if the players cant hold the economy someone got to do it.. and we staff had to do it..

Yeah, ok, how dare you make that assumption of me. You know nothing about me, but if you did know the slightest bit of knowledge about what kind of person i am you'd know that some dwarf hammer of doom2005 is the last thing i'd want. It's true that 90% of GK would want that, but still, you shouldn't just make that bloody conclusion without even thinking.

Ps. the economical balance of the game is already ruined. The everything else balance of the game is also ruined. In fact, if there's anything on GK you can find that isn't ruined, i'll give you a potato. :frown:
