Since a fair amount of us enjoy sketching, and I've seen threads like these on other forums, I believe this would be a good idea. Perhaps if Zen feels like it, we can sticky this as well.

To get the ball rolling, some recent work with my new tablet.

What is people suggestions for a tablet? Wacom or something alittle cheaper to start with?

I got myself a Wacom as my first one. Then again, I had just got my paycheck so I was able to blow the $$$. ;[

Is the 10 letters rule gone?

Nah lol, when scott posted, he used an image tag. Apperently the website url in combination with the image tags was more then 10 characters. But the text it self doesnt show, all that shows is the image. So Scott was able to post an image without having to post any text. I can see though how one would come to the.. KHANclusion that Scott bypassed the 10 character rule somehow.

I saw a post by scott that had 4 letters..... no url image in the post either.

No. Some people, like Donald and myself change our font to white then put random letters in.

Maybe he uhh posted white lettering after that like I did in my "yo." post. Its ok though, not everyone knows about that lol.

What program are you using for your sketching Scott? Looks just like hand drawings o.o

Well, here's a quick sketch I did.
15 minutes or so (program died and I lost
the original sketch, so longer than I intended.)
Anyways, very "meh", shading is crap and the perspective
is off, but the more I torture you people with the better I get.

Dude.. wtf, Scott, you've got a like.. melancholy style of drawing.. everything seems, almost depressing.

Their incredible though.

If I didn't have my scanner already plugged in and my notebook right here i wouldnt have done this :P

God, what programs are you all using?

I could try something similar, but I believe you're drawing it freehand?

Meh, after donald and I were screwing around in some paint program THING, he pointed me at an eye tutorial for anime and such. Seeing as how I suck a lot I decided to try it out. Hey it's progress :/

To make myself feel better I'll just say that both are in (osht) 105% paint!111

I didn't pay for it... I downloaded openCanvas3.05e Plus Demo and then i got myself 2 CD Keys. You can "buy\get" them from me if you want to.
