no it doesnt. but it has limited functions to your posts. its just a way that you can post without having to wait for loading another page. hence, Quick Reply

So.. it's better for people who already know how to do the tags for italics, htmls, imgs, etc?

I use it for most posts, but if theres something I'm quoting or for long posts I use the normal thing.

Even though my connection is 3 mbs of speed, I use quick reply. Mostly because I don't usually dress up my text or add any images to my posts.

Aka, yeah i use it sometimes, its lame when you need to quote someone or something though :(

I usually start replying with Quick Reply, but as my posts get longer or whatever, sometimes I start manually typing in the tags for different things...then I realize how much time I'm wasting stopping to do that and I just click "Go Advanced"..

And yes I realize there is shortcuts for quotes and bold etc, but its a habit for me to ignore them if they arent displayed like on the traditional reply page.
