New Forum Tag - REQUESTS
 

Heh, I decided to start one of these threads to let MagicalTux (ROB) know what the forum users want.

Just post the type of tag / hack you would like then post how it works and maybe he will be nice!

Image Zoom Hack - When you click on the image / or link above image it zooms in, so you can see a more indepth look of the image. :cool:

(and post an example if you have one... I saw an example of this code but I don't remember where... :p )

Useless, if you ask me. If the zoom is added, everyone else will expect their tags to be added, and the forums are going to turn into a jumble of HTML/JavaScript confusion.

Also I'm not sure it's really required/interesting...

Being able to zoom a image is nice, but...

Waste? I mean, it would be great to have since viewing attachments wont require opening it in paint then zooming.

Also a nice way to spot tile errors in levels.

Firefox and Opera both have capabilities to zoom.

I think functions like display a thumbnail of attached images would be much interesting than being able to zoom...

1) When you attach an image, could show it as tumbnail smaller in the left side
2) We should be able to attach *.nw files, since I tried it doesnt let us..
3) Could say if the player is online, and what server he is in the site of person thread if selected in the "update profile"
4) should have rank of number of posts.. like.. less then 10 posts - newbie.. more then 10000- Master..
5) More emoticons.. or let us to make our owns.. like these
6) Maybe a tag to select an image to be the background of a post.. I mean this table blackground
7) When you post a reply.. you can see other people posts on botton.. in the side of their names should have "quote it" button... so it add to the text area the quote for that person.. so we can answer more people in a post

For the custom smileys, they should be forced to follow the graal color scheme.

Why would you need to view an image in Paint with zoom anyway?

So you can see how it was made? It would be nice in the graphics forum, then you could see how they did a certain thing, like joining to pieces together.

I still think it's useless. It'd be useful if Graal was a graphics community, but it is a gaming community. If you need to see how someone made a graphic, you should have the available graphics program to check it anyway.

take the double spacing out of the [CODE] tags

A forum currency/store system. Rob, try lesanes store hack if he ported it to Vbulletin 3.0. I know it was fun in VB2.. so look for it. Things to buy would be different colored usernames and all that other stuff.

[Edit] Oh yeah, TAG thread. Well I still think this'd be cool.

Some of would like it. It's not something that has to be done in threads with images, just if people would use it in the Graphics forum. Some of us don't like having to save a file, then open it with another program. The [IMGZOOM] tag would be a very nice addition.

I've got a question... when centering a img, do you just do

[center][img]http://www.domain.com/img.gif[./center][./img] ?

Because that didn't work for me. z.z

Put the [center] outside of the [/img].

I'd support the addition of a zoom script/tag. It's highly useful for us graphics peeps. I don't think it would really be that big of a deal...
