I might be offline Friday and possibly Saturday, it all depends on what hurricane Charley decides to do, right now it appears as though the track is taking it directly over me, so I dont know if I will end up evacuating (I live in a house, so I wont leave unless they make me), or the electricity will go out or whatever....so if you cant get ahold of me, you know what happened.

I'll be on n-pulse till then Moonie. If you see me all of a sudden dissapear without saying bye then its probably the hurricane killed my connection.

Thanks guys...I am in Hernando county, which is 2 counties above Tampa. The path was on the right side of me, now it's on the left, which means we are on the bad side :(
They still arent positive of it's path though, so it could still move East or West before it hits land.

Heh, yeah' i'm in Kissimmme, it's been declared a state of emergency, i've seen the national guard here and there, and the red cross is all over the place.

Tell them I wish to be thrown overboard in the ocean to return to the mother ocean and become one with the fish once again

These things rarely swing into Tampa, they usually split up or the gulf carries them hard north (they then proceed to go east after hitting land).

I heard on the weather channel that the "tropical storm" Bonnie is going to pull it into its path. o.O

We are not going to escape this one, unfortunately...

I'd like to run out into the hurricane. I'd stay outside on a laptop if I could during a hurricane, just to prove I could.

1:23 PM, Friday.. Still no storm here yet.. It's moving pretty slow, I doubt my area is going to get hit by that bad. :o

It just took a jog to the East (right), so it looks like I might escape the worst part this time (unless it changes it's mind and turns back to the west), good luck to those who live further south though :(

You lucked out!, it's heading right up I-4 now, coming right into Kissimmee.. We just had around 4 tornado's spotted in Osceola County, wow.. this storm is friggin crazyyyy. It's now a Catagory 5 hurricane

I live in the Dallas area of Texas, so all I have to worry about is flooding and tornados.

The eye is about, an hour and 53 minutes away from me. The tree in my front yard is about to break off, my power is going off and on.. :P To bad it's dark out, I wanted to see inside the eye of the storm. :(

Human beings can stand in up to 110 MPH winds (Yes I saw it on the discovery channel >_>) and a hurricane can easily go past that, blowing you away.
