I left Pirates for a minute, because people, Amoun Di, Emily etc. :redface:
wanted me removed I gues.
so I left, soon I came back but I had a punishment:
I must start with scallywag rank for 2days and then you can have first mate rank again.
And as you all know, if you have a rank very long and never asked for promotion, you problaby get promoted.
So I was wondering, when I get first mate rank, do I need to restart again???

he only checks the forums once in however long
and then he posts everywhere he has an opinion
which ends up including threads we've gotten over

You left by your choice and nobody forced you to
because people leave, we will not reinstate their ranks immediatley as it will mean people who kingdom jump, decide to come back and demand their rank back...as you only only left for a short time you have to be scallywag for 2 days.

Just because you have a rank for ages does not mean you will at anytime get promoted, it is not judged on that

I've left and returned to pirates many times, and everytime I recieved my rank back, as head of a tier I founded, I prefered the top rank of the rogue tier "Assassin" over "Captain" and have passed over the opportunity for promotion plenty of times. Does your rank really matter? Does it going up really matter? Do kingdoms really matter? No, no one roleplays, a kingdom is just a crappy version of a guild, and I have known classic guilds more helpful and friendly than the kingdoms on GK. :whatever: So, a big who cares if you left, came back, lost or regained rank, it simply doesn't matter other than the people who are somehow easily ammused enough to be proud of their rank.

i got my rank back, and Deihitay, you are just angry because you got demoted and couldnt handlle it..

I was being serious about people not liking it when you revivie old threads
if you only visit the forums so often, try to check the dates

As for my being demoted, that was a small part of why I left Pirates
I was the most helpful thing in Pirates at the time
I was the most active, I recruited the most people, and I answered the most questions
Misty Di has told me she doesn't like being asked questions
Alisa made it obvous she doesn't want to deal with much either
Kerith isn't really on enough to give an opinion

But even doing the most work, I got punished for some dumb as hell reasons

Once I hosted an event as Alisa was offering to show people map spots
She got upset about it, complained to some people, who in return complained to Kerith
She had been on for the last hour and would have known I was going to host if she would have put on her tag
So Kerith thought there were a bunch of people upset with me
Honest truth is she left in the middle of helping people,
so I hosted the event and helped the people she abandonned at the same time

Then there was the deal with Laura
She told me she was a former Mayor for Pirates
I sincerely doubted her, so I asked Alisa
I told Alisa she was probly only trying to make herself appear better and I laughed about it
but Alisa got incredibly paranoid and apparently told me not to recruit her
I spent an hour try to tell her it was no problem and thought I got through
but apparently, I was wrong about that
when she finally did send in a good application, I recruited her
Then I got accused of going around Alisa's back

The final straw was when Raziel upgraded his Raziel account since his other was running out of gold time
He got his stats transferred, but he needed to be added back
I could add him back, but I couldn't give him a rank
And my sense of humor got the best of me, so I told him to help me play a joke
He set his nick to Governor Raziel Tenjin and put on the kingdom tag
without a rank, that actually works, and we had some good laughs
Lance got concerned and told him to take it off, so we did
Lance told Alisa about it later on, and she got paranoid again
Just because it was Lance that told her, she thought Raziel was breaking all the rules and that Lance was upset
She kicked Raziel and demoted me cause I had told Lance it was my idea

It's dumb stuff like this that made me question whether helping Pirates was worth dealing with Alisa
So I flat out asked her if she wanted my help, or if my sense of humor and my trying to explain things to her all the time wasn't worth my help?
She said it wasn't worth it, so I held an event that climaxed in me leaving the kingdom
and I went over to KJ since that's where I had the most friends
