Help Me Graal!

Hey it's me I am using some online web-proxy to get onto the forums. For the last week I have done nothing but try to get graal to work again. I came home one day and graalonline.com, the forums, and the serverlist for the game all fail to load. I am getting no errors telling me I am IP banned or anything of that sort so the problem is mysterious. I contacted my ISP, tried pinging graalonline and it timed out, scanned for virusues, and even eventually formatted. NONE of this worked. My ISP has basically told me they can't do anything. I don't know what to do. Moon Goddess, please take your problems with me to AIM or forum pm. Deleting that last thread was pointless. Are you happy? It's me now. My AIM is theoriginalbrad if you have anything that can help me.

TO STEFAN AND UNIXMAD

I GOT VT TO SEND A FORUM PM TO BOTH OF YOU INCLUDING MY IP ADDRESS. I THINK POSSIBLY THE IP RANGE MAY HAVE BEEN BANNED. IF SO IT SHOULD BE FIXED. THANK YOU.

I hope this will eventually be fixed..:/

Proxys i think are illegal to use to avoid an IP ban...then again they are illegal for lots of things but oh well.

They shouldn't be illiegal for a 1 time avoiding a mistake banning or glitch.

TESTRETIS 08-12-2004 01:50 AM

That's true in a sense but if he did do something then it is illegal.

Even if he was IP banned, he could ping the graalonline.com and even still access the site. Now if his IP was involved in an undisclosed hacking incident then his IP would be blocked completely.

We'll see what Unix/Stefan say, I asked about it. It seems strange that his IP would be banned but not his account.

Brad 08-12-2004 01:59 AM

I didn't know what a proxy was until someone explained it in detail to me. I don't know anything about hacking at all galen. :/

Spammers should be banned.

galen 08-12-2004 02:03 AM

Brad: I've just been informed that someone heard Unix mention that you fall under the same IP range that Jellyfish (a hacker) uses so it was blocked at the router level. Might be true, might not.

That means you should be banned then. Your way off topic.

Anyway I don't think brad would do anything like hacking. Its probably just something wrong with the server and his IP, it happens to me a lot too since I am on dialup. I cant connect to any part of graal and when reconncet to the internet its fine again.

Brad is a spammer, Brad is banned, and my comment was 'spammers should be banned'.

Perfectly relevant.

This is about Brad's difficulty in getting connected to the Graal servers. It is not relevant at all.

Is he banned? If he was he wouldn't be here right now. Anyway how do you know so much about Graal, didnt you just come back from like a year or two ago?

This could be very good. VERY good. Thank you so much galen. Can you do anything?

heh, no. Your best bet would be to find Unixmad or MagicTux online and ask them to check your IP range against the list of ranges the router drops packets for.
