New pets: Horses
 

To prevent that your pet runs away, you can use the new 'peg' item which you need to use on the horse to put it on a line.

The pets have been changed to eat less food, and they show a health bar and give more information when you right click them, so it's easier for pet owners to raise pets. The laying of eggs has been changed so that the pet owner must play a special melody with the new flute, you still need two pets of opposite gender and the female pet needs at least one day before being able to lay an egg again. The children of your pets recognize you immediatelly as your owner without needing to feed them first.
