You can run Graal through WINE.

FatherDante 03-25-2001 02:08 PM

I didn't see Graal on their list of projects...

Admins 03-25-2001 02:29 PM

*there is Graal for Linux*

Zulithe 03-25-2001 02:32 PM

Check out iGBA ( http://igba.multimania.com/ ) for a development toolset being worked on to make GBA (Game Boy Advance) games. Maybe Graal can be ported to GBA? If there were people interested enough to try it.

Admins 03-25-2001 02:38 PM

Oh Many thanks for the GBA link! I was
searching for such informations

FatherDante 03-25-2001 03:01 PM

There is a Graal for Linux?

Well, not much of a difference to me, but interesting nonetheless.

03-25-2001 03:09 PM

Probably just a port of graal to linux so you could play it on linux, exactly the same as current graal.

03-25-2001 04:17 PM

I hear Linux is better than Windows, they're probably right.

grim_squeaker_x 03-25-2001 06:19 PM

Haha.

Cool, will Graal also be developed for the Game Cube, PS2 and the other consoles??? Heh, and then making them all compatible for the same online server... Maybe that could be the future of a real Graal 3D ^^

FatherDante 03-25-2001 10:41 PM

Well, from my networking experience, Linux is more powerful than windows, at least in a networking environment, because it's a Unix based OS. But I maintain that windows is more user friendly and software compatibility is better.

Windows X Linux is actually pretty good at compatibility, though, supposedly.

freddyfox 03-25-2001 10:50 PM

Haha, maybe we could get Jeff K. to play graal if it becomes a linux supported game..

FatherDante 03-25-2001 10:51 PM

I bet you're expecting this question. Who is Jeff K.?

JoMomma 03-25-2001 11:43 PM

*JeffK Mode On*
FI YUO MAD GRAWL FOR LUNIX I WOULD PLAY IT OFETN, BUT NTO AS OFTEN AS Q#A!!!11 AND I WOULD NTO HAX0R ON GRALL CAUSE I DONT HAX0R ANY MOER. I AM A COMPUTAR CONSULTONT NOW!!!!11
*JeffK Mode Off*

BTW, Stefan couldn't chose that TransGaming thing, cause it requires that the source code be released as well.

JoMomma 03-25-2001 11:45 PM

Hmmmm

*ponders "personal servers" again, but for Linux only*...

Bah there'd be 2 problems though:
1) Stefan would get stuff like "What's Linux? Where can I get it? Can you teach me Linux?"
2) It'd be limited like the older one, so it wouldn't matter to people much anymore I guess.

Nai 03-26-2001 12:26 AM

lol

Yes, it is a joke. This is where Darkman got the inspiration of L33t P3t3.
