the sandpath is too flood-filled inside, other than that, I like it.

Nothing exciting. The grass detail is bland. And the dirt is nearly all one tile.

Zzzzzz...

Okilian 07-27-2004 04:17 AM

don't like the dirt path, and the grass detail seems to be lacking it. Also, some deep water detail might be nice.

Silver Knight 07-27-2004 04:25 AM

Where is the detail?
The layout of the sand path is nice...but lacks detail.
Try varying the dirt tiles, and also, in the grass, try to use more,
varied types of tiles to add detail.

Overall Rating: 6/10 - Needs Improvement.

o.O
Thanks.
I agree with the path, I already redid that.
I'm going to ignore the detailing part, because it appears to me, I'm the only person left who finds random pieces of..whatever laying all over the place...ugly, disgusting, unrealistic, whatever. =) I'm an old level maker, and I'm a conservative, damnit.

Thanks.

Heh, yeah, if you had made that level a few years ago, you'd be praised as a genious, but now-a-days people like their detail.
I like how it isn't an unrealistic-wow-look-I-can-do-cliffs type level, it's actually something you would see on a server, which is something most people don't post anymore.

I'll never understand why people make fences that branch off into random directions, how is this pratical, in any way?

I doubt those fences grew from a natural source.

It doesn't have to make sense if it looks good. If modern society has taught me anything, it's this.

o.O The path wasn't put their by natural forces..Grass doesn't just stop growing in a path. The path either forms because somebody moved grass away, or because the amount of traffic it recieves killed it. Pick and choose.
There for the Fence wasn't put their by natural forces either, because if somebody made the path, then somebody may want to put up a fence around it to direct people where to go, incase of the path disapearing-- Or somethin'.
And incase of them splitting off..
As years go by, fences break, and people fix them. Maybe not in the best way possible, but people fix them. These fences were fixed into something..Like that.

Thanks again for your opinion(s).
