Hi, you there? Yeah its me again....


Well, was talking to Soul Blade and he showed me some screenshots of something he made a while ago. It was a sidescroller he was working on. He doesn't mind that I post the screenshots, just some general feedback on if you like the style he was going for and the way it looks, etc would be appreciated. And yeah, it uses the GK head...obviously he didn't get far into it and never made new heads.

(Note: I don't believe he plans on resuming this project, but it seems like it could be a blueprint for some future plans after he release his current project...)

Dialup players would have a difficult time though, unless those are tiles and not images.

I have trouble with just custom tilesets (note why I don't attempt to play Era for long amounts of time) The screen shots look great though.

So? They shouldn't be living out in the middle of no where. :(

They might not have enough money for broadband.

I like the moon.

Taxes in Sweden are insane and I still manage @ 2mb broadband...

Yeah... But why are there stars twinkling in FRONT of the moon?

Maybe the 'moon' is actually a gigantic planet way way far away. :D

His point is that the stars are way way way way way further away than any normal moon would be.

I know what his point is, I'm saying that possibly it's not a moon, but a humongous planet :O! Or possibly a huge dust ball.

Oh mang, we should make a beat 'em up server! You can play with up to 5 other graalians and just beat the "game". That would be so cool :(

Then you could have 5vs5's.

Think Final fight but more Sided and more leet.

I wish designers like him were still around.

It does look cool, though i don't know how a sidescroller multiplayer game would work out. Never played one before.
