Hmmm...well, i sat there and thought about where this thread should go. It's not really about computer gfx so it probably belongs in the non-graal-related thread, but then again more artists are likely to see it here so, mehhhh o_o

This summer i'm going to paint my bedroom walls, because the current paint just plain sucks. I think i'll just go for a plain white colour, or maybe a light green or blue or something.

Three of the four walls are blocked by **** like a bed, wardrobe, window, etc etc.
However, there is one wall which is -apart from a small commode which could easily be disposed of- completely free. On this wall i plan to paint something special, the problem is i have NO idea what i want to put up there!

Do any of you guys have any suggestions, and possibly tips as to how i should go about doing it? Thanks ^^

i actually like zero hours idea... it'd be tricky tho. if you did it right it could look awsome, otherwise it just might make it look like sh..... crap

calming natural themes, like light branch type dealies, or delicate streams, whispy clouds, wheat field with wind blowing over it, a stone-garden-whatever-you-call-it, all very light pale colors

Yea thats what i was thinking of. The zen ideas (lol) are nice and all, but im really not a very good artist irl, when it comes to painting and stuff, so i need something simple yet effective to do o.o

Yeah! Do something like a disease is taking over your wall, and the effects are really dense in one point (Where it started) and then it just branches out all over the place... :)

Oh, and by the way, my post was too short, apparently. I don't really understand why though, i mean, a dubious "rrrright" was more than enough to express my thoughts on his comment, and adding more would have been completely pointless. However, the filter on the forums deemed it unworthy because, apparently, it knows better than me. I highly doubt this though, as it is only programmed to do a certain amount of things, such as filtering out certain words regardless of context, forcing people to write overly long messages, and various other annoying things which i can't recall. I, on the other hand, can use my better judgement, composed from years of hands-on experience, wisdom and teaching, to determine exactly when and where certain words are acceptable, and i also am capable of deciding exactly how long or short a post should be in order to achieve the optimal effect. It's quite regrettable that nobody told the filter this, because it sits there day after day, purposely PISSING ME OFF.

The filter should be banned for offensive opinions against my good friend **** ****inson.
