tileset template
 

FFS, I swear to hell that there used to be like 5 million threads with the tileset template, and other templates, on it, but i've been searching for the past 15 minutes and havent found any of them.

Can someone post me that nice tileset template which just has the black gridlines and then little text boxes saying what each section is (water, chair, bush, etc)?

Hm i already have the two you posted, and they're horrible...no offence meant, though, i just couldn't stand to work on something that garish and black. I was talking about the template that looks like my attachment (sorry for posting era's tileset from my webgifs but i had to use -someones- server to show an example).

I'd like the clean version of that template =x

Lololol no it really doesnt help any more, so i went ahead and made my own tileset template! I think it's much clearer and easier on the eyes than the other ones ^^

Even having said that...i'd quite like to know what some of these labels mean:
hurting underground, throw through, foreground.
Also ones like "water"/"water without body", and "near water"/"near lava", and such mean. Can anybody tell me what specific kind of tiles should go in these sections? o_O

i did a tileset template of pics1.png once, if you want that.. same as pics1.png but just color co-ordinated..
i'll post it when i go on other comp..

Nice template. I like the fact that its like a checkerboard. That helps keep people from being off by 1 pixel :D

Uh...well I'd assume that water without body means its the kind of water you swim in, and near water/near lava would be the kind when you can stand in it and it shows the little animation of the water or lava around your feet.

Thanks, and yeah, if you look at like the era tileset or whatever, they have their squares all weird colours, shaded and stuff to make it look like they're raised outward like buttons. No idea how the hell that'd help you make a tileset, so i simplified ^^

Yeah thats what i thought too, but i wasnt sure. How about throw through and foreground? Is throw through tiles that you can't walk through but you can throw pots and bushes and stuff through? The mind boggles!

You know all your questions would be answered if you just compared it to the standard classic tileset and figure out what tiles are normally placed in those areas, lol. Wow!
