Client IP
Ive heard in the past week that 4people have been hacked apparently...So i was thinking...Would'nt it be safer if players had to set their IP adresses for there clients also...It MIGHT work...I dont know because if player was to go to friends house and player graal he wouldnt be able to....Or someone can make it so that you can put a max of 3-5 IP adresses...It would make it harder for hackers to hack an account.=) What do you people??

Combine my user title with my account name. Then think about how you can fix it, in relation to yourself, of course.

He is saying that you need to think your idea over, I do too...

What is up with people's ip appearing as 0.0.0.0? I've seen that a lot lately when I load people's attributes.

How about each accounts ip is logged more than it is now. So the last 5 DIFFERENT ip adresses could be logged in chronological order to the account so when you log on and realize that your account was hacked, you wont have already erased your last ip address that was logged. Also the very first ip address could be logged somewhere else to somewhat verify (because peoples ip's change once and a while) if the person on is the original owner.

Thing is, PEOPLE DO NOT GET HACKED. They give out their passwords to people they don't know. There account getting lost is due to their idiocy. And sence the people who know how to hack accs are gone who gives a **** anyway? -- 2: Matt, YOu must be smoking, Setting client IP ranges? You must be insane, what about dial up users! They couldnt ever play then! |
