The Best?
 

We all know people who can make body sprites that look good are few and far between. Out of those who do posses that rare gift of animation, who is the best? if you know you are I might have a specail project for you ( a very first in graal =) ).

Likely there is not many people out there who have had much success in this area.

I'm sure I am nowhere close to the best. I have never actually sat and completed a whole sprite sheet, but part of that is being disatisfied with the standards many others have been happy with.

The first and only walking animation that I actually liked was my diagonal walking guy, and that doesnt have use in graal's current enviornment. I dont "think" there are any isometric styled pw's in the works...

I saw you isometric walking sprite and I was amazed I am also a fan of donalds walking animations. Anyway since no one seems to be interested I will show you what I was gettign at.

My playerworld is going to hopefully be the first to have a sprite sheet of a body with 8 directions. Also probably the most resembling a human body. Although I have made a few decent bodies in my time I lack the attention span and the skill to make a walking animation much less an isometric walking animation and since I only want the very best for my server I thought I would consult the masters of this. Well here is the body and a less recent animation of the body that I was messign around with yesterday.

Animation is hard. It took me a while to get my body sprites right. I have desided to use a 3d program from now on for my servers body, I sugest you guys try it.

The program is called gmax, It is by the creators of 3d studio max, it is free (forever) and supports a file type used in graal 3d. I have not even gotten through the first tutorial for it so take note it may take you a while to learn to use it, but it is worthwhile.
