return of the horse thread (from crash)
Horses shouldn't get hit from you when they are following you, unless it is lag causing this, then make it a bit more secure :\
Umm, something something... Change the angle nodes of the horse to include true cardinal directions. I think down, right, and either left or up are a little off (I'd check but my horse doens't like me right now...) I'd suggest creating an array to hold the vector components instead of having them calculate with sin, cos on the spot. And, that's all I have right now... Good Day ^^ |

Gotta love it.. and Yea I think that too... and what about horse feeders, cant there be anything better then that? I mean.. my horses are retarded or something, I have 15, I have foodall over the place, and one horse feeder, they put that death sign, and just sit there.. |
They're like lemmings- you know, the little green-haired guys with their own game.
|
also, either you or your horse should be able to take damage from monsters while you're riding the thing
|
Leave the movement controle as it is, it's fun and really good once you're used to it. Also, if horses can take damage, there should be a limit where they won't let you ride, i.e. drops you off, yet it should be impossible to kill them, in my opinion. There should be horse armour, if the ganis allow, and maybe even jousting and such. Being able to use bows atop of horses at reduced speed and accuracy would be another nice addition.
And, if you hit your horse, you deserve it liking you less :p |

Tis not my fault the darn thing gets in my way whilest I am killing bomies and such. It is following me, isn't it? (the following vs using pegs for temp demobilization debate is void from the fact that killing stuff requires me to move, so leaving my horse behind instead of it being at hand is silly, no?) |
