I don't know about everyone else, but I really miss Graal2001. Will it ever be back? whats the status on it? ;(

I miss it to man...but I believe it is gone forever just like Graal 3000 and a lot of older PWs

According to a few old staff members, they stopped working because Tseng doesn't want to work on the server. :|

We can't just swing a magical wand and make everything all better again. Furthermore it's YOU players that played the part in making it die. The server needs YOU to be ran efficiently, a consistent player amount of approximately 60+. When YOU go inactive, it dies. Jeez! - then YOU have the nerve to whine when it's gone. Hypothetically if everything was already complete, whether or not it was released now or months later the impact on the players would be the same. The thing is..... if it's actually released NOW you'd have a half assed server which YOU complained about before leading to it's current status <3

Technically we could just start working on it again... But everything would be so unorganized it would be very very difficult...

Now that I think of it... I may try to get some of the staff together... I'm not making any promises though.

But there should be someone with powers in charge.

Technically I think the best way to keep players going to the server is having more then one update per month, and having said updates be more then "restocked (insert obscure hat shop here)"

I have powers, I doubt I will have to use them... and I dont want to be "in charge" because it would make me feel like I'm betraying Lance... :(

When a team can be assembled, Graal2001 can be un-paused.

Why don't you just bring back the old Graal2001 that everyone loves with the old kingdoms? I know everyone hates new valikorlia and wants the old one, bleh. :x

I highly doubt there will be trouble looking for a team to work on Graal 2001.

The old bodies should come back before anything else.

What really needs to be done is the hat needs to be abolished as an economic factor. There are too many hats, and they will need to be released in volumes too great soon after the server is released in order to meet the status quo. We need something to replace hats, something that there isn't 250 of.

I love the new bodies, meh. But I agree with Googi, there are too many hats. Also, alot of crappy looking ones.

Just a thought, and an example.. But give it to someone who won't quit because he/she dosn't have any other staff. You could leave everything else and carry on scripting on it, but I guess you didn't want to? :\

Well, I didn't really have much time to play on that server, but when I did, it was really fun. About the hat situation, why not just pick out a certain few good hats and only use those? If not, create new ones so you can only use the new ones, and you won't have to use the old ones. Btw, if the team ever does get up, I'll be glad to help with gfx.

I don't think so, Just because lance forgot about 2k1 dosn't mean everyone else has to.
To me Era is crap, I just like making the levels there (Because I can add my own into the tileset).

The only way Era and 2k1 s similar is that they both have people.

I worked my ass off on what we have finished so far for the new kingdoms... As well as many others. I'm just too lazy to list them.

Oh, please. You claim it is dead and that I need to be removed because I refuse to entertain thoughts of hiring you, and because you do not like me (which alone is quite probably for that reason).

I love it when people use their brains.

They both have jobs that require D to do them, you get money reward for turning in the objects.

They have Events

They have PK

They have companies and corperations (Kingdoms)

They have mass transit (railriaods Vs Subway)

They both have day and night system

They both have a big overworld

Era is getting new content every day, 2001 lost that a *long* time ago

Era isn't empty


They have alot more in common then you might think.



EDIT: as for new kingdoms!

The orignial Dustari was a 3 level game, it took me a week to redo with the help of (Was it Stefan or Loriel?) for new npcs.

The Original Samurai or whatever it's called now, took less then a week to make, Stefan made the apple tree npcs at the same time.

The Zormite Kingdom took (argh, thinking of his name, he's a blue fisshy blah) less then a week to script and make. Falados later redid the place within two weeks with full scripting graphics and levels.


There's no excuse for not having new kingdoms, aside from me not redoing them when I said I would (haha, punked) Anyone who really cared could make even a halfass revamp of the kingdoms if they *tried* it doesn't take three months to make a 5-20 level castle with the current degree of skill displayed.

90% of the things you said is a near-requirement for a playerworld and the other 10% are pointless.

In closing, birdbrain is still sore about losing "HIS PRESHOUS."

The kingdom levels are there, and they are much better quality than the original kingdoms.

The quality is so damn good, nobody will want to explore the unfinished levels.
