Pirate Event
 

Alright, 2 days from now, on April 7, 2004, I will be holding the Pirate Event for the new event items.

I will explain how the event will work, when it comes that time.

Hint: You're going to be doing some digging. :D

PS: Make sure everyone is on @ 7:00 EST , April 7. That will be one of the event times, so if you cannot make it, all is good, you will able to participate in the rest of the events. :D

what time is that in british and european times?

im thinking its about 10pm or 11pm but im not sure can anybody verify this?

6:00 is the time people are getting home from work on the eastern side of America. Perfect time.

perfect time if it's a week day
but if it's a weekend, then it should be earlier

i think the event is at a great time as it is late evening in europe so it means it is ok for the europeans. If it were earlier then it may interupt dinnertime

Actually, I just figured out the store closes for Easter weekend so I actually am free

so the event got cancelled. mark didnt bother to post or come on and tell us!!! great leadership:rolleyes:

Yet you're wrong. The event wasn't even officially canceled. He just never showed up- even worse. He shouldn't promise things he's not going to go through with. Better to promise no event than promise one and not do it.

I was never able to actually have some scheduled when I was Governor since my older computer might have messed up (though I never complained about computer problems to everyone like another Governor we know) during or before it and ruined it all. So, I just did things when I knew my computer was running smoothly and enough people were on- then doing another for people who missed it.

And also, you shouldn't be complaining. This is all because of you. You put Valder back as Governor to take me away.

I'm not a pirate, but how can there be items if the event didn't take place?

Because markb claimed that he was making them inbetween playing era :p

I was there supporting valder, but i didnt/dont support mark taking over.....soooooo yea bad judgement c'est la vie.

Having good judgement is important. It's why I never wanted you as Governor. It's why I discard just about any other opinion you have now. Your judgement has proven to be horrible several times now.

On another note, Pirates should just change Governor now ASAP (instead of waiting for Mark). Continuing like this just makes things get worse over time. The sooner...the better. There's plenty of people in the kingdom (and even out: Me) who could do better: Lyndzey, Cyrin/Gozelda, Kerith... 4 is plenty ;)

I was meaning valder's judgement. Valder sorted somethings out in the Kingdom sorted ranks and ran an event so as a leader he was pretty good, but he gave up pretty quickly.

Also nobody really wants you back as governor and wishes you'd stop trying to get it back. You may recall a massive RP event of us wanting YOU removed and the pirates wanted Valder as governor :asleep:

Anyways your just all in the huff coz you wanted me to remove mark and bring you back, but i have more sense than that. Face it Ziro nobody wants you back

Well...If kerith turns out to be uncapable of leadership, then cyrin should be next in line. But, looking at the facts, Ziro's the best candidate other than Cyrin.
As far as i know, Ziro did fine as a governor in the long run, and you guys were quite content. It was only when he went too far with crazy rules did he suddenly become the scum of the seas. Now, while we can't ignore the fact that those rules really were crazy, it cannot be denied that he's probably learnt from that mistake, and would probably listen to advice from others first - also let's not forget that he did have the interests of RPing at mind, and probably went that far because he was so determined to make Pirates the best kingdom for RPing.

Anyway, that's all past tense. Can we Please drop this ancient topic of whether ziro did well or not, and keep on track with trying to sort the kingdom out? There's one common interest at mind right now, and that is getting rid of MarkB for once and hoping Kerith does a good job once his position is smoothed over. How the hell are you going to achieve that if you're sitting around bickering at each other?

Nope. I recall that people who would always have "-OOC-" in their name while on tag (they did this so that they could stay on tag and have an excuse for not RPing... this was allowed, but I specifically said to not do it all the time and to be IC more than OOC- and they still kept the -OOC- in their name regardless) claimed a civil war against me and whoever supported me. I also recall how unorganized this "war" was and consisted of people spamming toguild messages and bickering with one another using excessive profanity, and continuing with it after several warnings. And this resulted in people being temporarily removed (people that supported me or were against me were taken out temporarily... no matter who it was- the rules applied). After I left and everyone got what they want, RPing went down. And then it went down even further when MarkB came in. That is fact- not that everyone gracefully RPed my removal and RPed a civil war to be fought greatly against me. Alisa wanted a power-playing war to determine what was done with CP. Not that it mattered, but I could have just won that anyways as I had friends on my side greatly capable of PvP -.-
