Isometric help
Ok, here is an image i've been using to tryout some isometric graphics... Just basic shapes so far... Now, I want you to ignore all of the shapes except for the archway... I can't seem to get the curves to look right... For example, on the outside curve, the two curved lines don't look like they match... So right now I'm just looking for help on drawing curved objects in an isometric perspective... Any tips or whatever? :)

They look fine to me.
|
Yeah, they look cool. And ohdamn, those pyramids must have been painful to do. They woulda been for me, anyway o_O
|
No, pyramids are easy as pie... I personally don't like them though.
|
They're all good, and you're complaining for no reason. Stop, or I will sell your kiddnies on the black market.
It's up to you to figure out how I would get your kiddnies. |
They're just plain I guess... I tried the outside curve on the otherside of the archway... I think it came out ok...

There's some awesome tutorials about isometric pixel art over at Zoogles > http://zoggles.dyndns.org/zoggles/as...asp?show=index.

That one picture of those two half naked people runnin' was insane! @_@; |
It is okay, don't be afraid Shadowless, the guy that drew that has been pixeling for many many years, you dont start out awesome and work your way back, it works the other way. ;)
