Can't Post?
 

My friend got a new account and registered for the forums but cant post. Whats up with this?

He need to wait for aproval.

its been 5 days and its obvious unixmad has been about. whys it not working for em?

Same thing happened to me, I had to wait 3 weeks until I could post. :\

I still never got my approval e-mail, but I can post.

Unixmad is not in the offices to do it on the weekend, so that will add a few more days. It can take upto 3 weeks.

I had to e-mail people alot to get mine done, the second time anyway.

Which is total bs.

Im sure it could be done next day if someone had the time to, with the rights to.

I'm an end-user. I don't care why it takes so long. I just know that it is a horribly long time to wait AFTER you already paid you good hard earned money to use the forums.

P.S. Is unixmad the only one with the ability to do this? If so, why doesn't someone like galen or Thym?

Lets see Thymns account ran out so basicly he is out of the picture and Galen drops by whenever the mood strikes him so guess what ? Unixmad is the fastest way to get it done as odd as that may sound.

I did not know that. If he doesn't have the money I would donate some to him, unless he doesn't want to come back. In which case I am confused at why he still is listed on the forum leaders page.

It's the fact that you spelled it wrong. Have you ever attempted to pronounce "Thym"? You'd more than likely say the "Th" together, producing something completely different than "Tim". It's spelled "Tyhm" :/

Since I feel stupid not posting something relevant to the thread (:P), I'd have to agree with Trevor. There should be someone else able to do things. Especially with setting up new servers, although that's more difficult.

Have the forum accounts always needed approval from unixmad before being activated?

Spark should have quite a few rights, He is high globall and he isnt corrupt. But I understand he'll have to wait to get more rights over the nemesis crap x.x

Ahh, my error. I overlooked that.. twice. :(

Snake waited like 5 month for his, Then after 500+ posts, He got banned lol, He out of gold now anyway.
