Hacked
 

On Thursday, March 18, I went out to dinner with my family around 6:30-8:30 PM. I logged back into graal (Server Era) and received half a dozen PMs from players asking for loaned items to be returned.

Turns out someone was using my account to scam players' items. The person on my account was also making lewd remarks. I was shown logs that I do not have record of or recall saying, and I'm slightly worried. I haven't used any trainers/chat programs/etc.

I've always been careful about my password. I ran a trojan/virus scan on both of my PC's, they turned up clean. I changed my graal password and the passwords to both of my email accounts (I had been forwarding my graal information from the account I registered on to my current e-mail) and set up a firewall.

Are there any other precautions I should take, and what are your thoughts?

Make it so graal and rc doesnt save your passwords, never download the graal exe and rc exe from anywhere except graalonline and well just hope its ok. I hope something like this never happens to me sorry man :(.

I can check the ip logs to see if someone else was using the account

I think global logs log every ip, not a "last ip" like the account attribs.

Me and my friend Lauren (she's the one whos picture i used as emily) share a neopets account, it recently got hacked so all are neopoints went away. I'm so pissed at all this hacking, people too lazy to do crap that they have to steal it from others.

Chances are that one of your family members did it, someone knows your password because they used leet hax that I don't know about, or you just did it. Whatever happens, good luck [:

It's odd but I have had many accounts both P2P and trial accounts and in all the time I have been on Graal (since around Jan 2000) NEVER has anyone ever been on my accounts but me. Believe me my comp gets attacked on a daily basis and has been for at least 2 years and yet even with this , nobody has ever gained access or any information from my comp. People who "claimed" to be hacked have in some way compromised their info or their comp. Watch what Graal sites you go to and always keep a firewall and up to date virus programs running. This is the best advice I can give other than NEVER give your password out to anyone , from a guy that this has never happened to.

It wasn't pointless spam, I was expressing how funny I thought it was to post your friends pic, have a neopets account, and get it hacked ;) Ten buck if all I said was lol no one would of said anything.
