i have midis but they wont play wen i type in the script for playing the
midi
what
is wrong?
it works offline but not online

Well I don't recommend you put it there anyway. You should just have the sound files available for download on a site.

(Just look in your serveroptions of what you currently have and it shouldn't be quite hard to figure out what you have to add to make any filetype download.)

Unless is changed recently the sound commands only work clientside.

do /find midifile.mid

if doesnt find it, you need to put it in a folder where it can.

The arrogancy in your first post does not work well with a request for help.

You are not allowed to have music files on your server last I checked.

What does owning a server have to do with your knowledge of Clientside? Half the owner I know don't do crap and take the credit their staff does.

well im not one of that half i made basically all the levels for Zenkou...and i have alot of images....so please dont diss me on //#CLIENTSIDE

ok then say, i upload the midi to a website somewhere.

that doesnt work either. It loads the midi though. If you press F1 and go to audio options, the midi is there in the text field, but it doesnt play.

NO... what they are suggetsing by uploading is make a server pack (zip, rar, whatever...) which you requets that people download and extract to thier own Graaal folders should they wish to hear the ingame music...

At least this is what I think they were suggesting, and it does seem to be fairly common practice amongst servers.

I love the midis from the URL's it's awesome :O
