Radicle House Idea!

ok maybe this idea isn't so "rad" but don't you think it would be cool if say a hosue got down to 10 or 5 constitution. instead of just waiting for the inactive player's house to fall apart and die.
say if a house was at 5 consitution any player could walk up to it. and repair it, and when repaired to over...50 or so it becomes that players house! the house then generates a NEW KEY for the NEW OWNER. as for the contents inside....i would leave this up to stefans decision if he would want the current hosue insides to go to the new owner or if it just like...re-does the inside brand spanking new.

anyways i think this would be a cool idea :O!

also i am going to steal an idea from another thread...
Upgradeable houses!?
liek maybe being able to add an upstares or something? the outside graphics are made..so common!

If a house dies, the contents should be transfered to the orgional owner of the house. If there is too much for the owner to carry, it will be transferred anyway, and the player can choose to drop certian things until the max weight is not less than the current weight.

We need house upgrades
upgrade house fully before the end of first summer for a free watch. (HM>you)
Upstairs, an underground area (Can you say wine cellar?) and a huge bath :D

Yeah, Harvest Moon kicks ass.
Man, I wish I had a wine cellar. :[

Houses should have some extensions, but I don't know whether that would work in scripting, and with the current houses anyway.

On topic, I dislike the idea - it's bad enough that the one who finishes a house receives the key. Imagine this, you start building, collect supplies and so on, but are short 2 boards and have to leave. Next day, your house is finished and someone waves at you from inside - all your work gone. Now you have a house and fill it with furniture, carpets and supplies. All you own is in there, a collection or rate items and money, things with a rp-ist background for you, rare recipes, whatever. Now you can't sign on for a week or so, and didn't repair it in a while. Someone else comes by and repairs your house. While commendable, chances with your idea are that either it's a friend who will then be owner of your house and have to give you a key so you can enter your own house - or it's a not so friendly person (I believe you would say a "bastard" ) who will claim your house that way, devastate the insides, take your rare and valuable items and open the door for everyone else.

There are already people that complain that they lost items because they forgot to repair the house, so I don't think that it is a good idea to give the stuff to someone else when the constitution is below 5%. May be the owner of the house and the kingdom should get messages when the house is near destruction so they don't forget to repair it.

It is possibly to add house upgrades, but it will require some scripting. We have some more scripters now that help for Graal Kingdoms content (Robin, SmallLars) so we can possibly do that in a few weeks or months.

How about having a list somewhere in the castle where houses below 10% are listed for other members to repair them - maybe to get some gimmick reward, like a golden nail ;)
