New Spells
Ok this is a dubble topic, lets think up new spells and at the same time try and get stefan to get all the current spells working *coughstefanshouldstopplayingmariocartcough*, now heres some spells i tought up:
Melt: melts icecubes and the item inside plops onto the ground, best part is it works first try and it doesn't burn the item inside Burn: Sets the target on fire, higher level burn spells last longer Mark Point: some spells require you to mark a point, thats what this does, higher levels mark more points, level 2 doing 1 point and level 20 doing 10 points Teleport: warps you to a marked point of choice comments on my spells and other spell ideas would be appreciated ^_^ |
Get flaming aura, it's long and very effective.

this isn't a suggest spells i should use, it's a think up a spell fourm, and using melt wont burn items couse i have burned items that i froze, and heres another spell

I want levitation to work.
Levitation - Flying like your on a zeppelin Teleport - Teleports you to the last little strange mark in a town you stepped on lots of fun magic like that, but flying is so fricking fun. |
It is fun why? You are doing the same thing as walking, only 50 pixels higher in the Z axis.

dust to earth, when you put fortifacations on thew ground, then someone uses earth to dust, you can cast dust to earth in the 24 hour limit to make it come back

That would be retarded. In a battle a kingdom would destroy the fort. Two minutes later, someone comes back and uses dust to eart and makes an entire fort again. Even with the shortened time limit, the idea is dumb. ;o

i would liek to see liek remove curse liek be able to cast it on other people besides just the caster, and maybe some more diseases and the ability to cast em on your self dunno why thought it would be fun
or a spell/prayer that charges rods/staffs etc at the cost of liek lots of mana/grace(liek 50-100) but only restores liek 5-10 charges |

first of all, get "summon cult monsters", "call holy servant" and other spells that dont work (properly) to work....
oh and bring back invoke so marking runes have a purpose again! |

Summons monsters that are of your cult (religious group). Each god has their own group of monsters or creatures. However, GK only uses a small amount of them in the dungeons/overworld map. So it is useless.

People this isn't some sort of one-player RPG. You need balance. GK isn't that balanced as is, but it's best to strive for balance anyhow. |

the only problem with marking rune is that one, is sourdough pointless, you can just press M and put a mark there, second, some person can just come and burn it up with a bad spell like small fireball, instedad of big fireball, seriously, there was a marking rune in the Samurai ferry, I hit with small fireball, and excatly when there are flames, the thing goes to flames

i have suggestions yes.
suggestions 1.) levitation spells 2.) no global guilds 3.) local rp guilds 4.) more god stuff 5.) happy food and bard and stuff |
good idea of using the map markers, that'll make it much easyer and it will also make you only able to do it around that map (i kinda realized tha warping from kingdom island to kingdom island is a bit much) but it would have to be made so you can't teleport to someware you havn't set foot on (couse then i could be inside samurai's castle ect.) so my marking spell might still be good, also the spell would make you not able to warp to anyware you have marked on your map, preventing you from warping into the middle of the sea and stuff like that, and this marking spell is diffrent from marking rune becouse
1: only YOU can see it 2: only YOU can destroy it effectivly making it much less annoying, couse anyone can just slash your marking "rune" and poof it's gone, but the mark from the spell i tought up wouldn't even be on their screen |

1 boat per person limit is ok (though it would be neet to send a whole bunch of them past bomboria or something with candles in them, or something ^^), I guess, but I say it would decay after an hour or so of inactivity... well actualy it was conjured magicaly a few seconds works... actual row boats shouldn't decay in seconds though.

better idea about the rowboat, it slowly consumes more and more mana every say 3 secends, and once you have 0 mana...you get the picture, or you can make it disappear like with animated weapons and summoned avatars, that would make it better the more mana you have ^_^ (and of corse it will have HP like normal ships)

I like the idea with it draining mana. The whole point of it should be travelling on rather short distances, but if it decayed too slowly, you could block the passage west from Bomboria with 3-4 boats if you get 3-4 friends to place them there.

if you mean (in a more simple way) block the west bomboria gate with boats, the spell would be made to only work if you use it on water, making what you said impossible.
