Sword Blessing Combos
 

what would be the best comination of sword and blessing?

Lightning Sword -Leuc
Lightning Sword -ogma
icesword- Leuc
firesword- something?
i dunno whats an effective combination :O?

A lightning sword to Leuc would be a waste ;x

Depends on what you want to use it for. Ogma is very effective against players because of his poison, while Govonnan does massive damage because of it's weaponmagic. I'd choose a weapon with Ice over a weapon with Lightning, simply because of the sheer number of items that add lightning resist (All Sorig items, Sigil of Thunder, etc.) Up to you.

DianCecht does blind, when you're blind it takes your ac away ALOT, very effictive. So a dagger improved with weapon enchantments would be best. Than a sword of govannon. Leuc has dumb enchantments.

Blind kills WC... not AC

Ice dagger with Ogma is awesome.

You only have a realistic chance of blinding someone if their level is much lower than yours, though :o
Besides that, DianCecht doesn't add any extra damage, so it would be alot like just using an unblessed dagger.

I always thought that blind did your ac, I don't remember for sure, been a long time since I used on, letalone even played the game.

Anyway, the dagger is good for blinding them, because you start using your sword.

Personally, a Diamond sword of Bile is good... you got the +9 damage, it's speed is better than morningstar (can double speed if you hold down the shield key with a shiled on and just keep pressing attack) and you to the death ability, which is nice... i never enter the dungeons without mine... auto-wolf-kill 1 stab :p

Nail Dagger of Bile is nice for me. I use it quite often. It's fast, and damage doesn't matter, since I 1-hit most things anyway with it.

Someone once told me that a Lightning Sword of leucetious would have something like the squared effect of electricity, but I never tried it...

Darkflame sword blessed to ogma or dianceht (if you pray to one of them, the alternative one should be the blessing.) It would do fear, blind and poison while holy possessed :x

Well it would make more sense if Blind effected WC because you can't see where or who you're attacking, and in such a state someone would be more defensive because they cannot see who or what is attacking them, right?

Dianchect is such a waste though... Blind does kill WC, but in the end, Ogma does that, and much more...

The higher number of _base_ attack types (i.e. diamond blade has 1) should be a status effect (dian or ogma), medium (flaming sword has 2) should be element or lesser status (ogma or luec), while simple attack types should be govannon or bile.
