Network failing

I would have put this in bugs, but that is a GK bug forum, so I am posting here:

Many people try to connect and can't get the server list lately. I know one person whom it was down for all day yesterday, and it is intermittenty working for most. Over the last week, I'd connect to everything on the net except the serverlist, and the graal webpage, while others online could, and then it would pop back in 20 minutes. Seems exacty that is happening to a lot of people, but for whole days as well now.

At a peak time, GK had about 20 users, so I suspect it is affecting up to 60% of the people who play.

No problem connecting to the actual servers, its the serverlist that dies.
Jagen thought it may be something in the path long the internet, not tied to the graal systems, but in the internet itself.

Whatever it is, it is preventing lots of people from playing. Is there any solution? If the serverlist is to show stats and choose the server you want, maybe the client could cache IPs of the servers and at least let players try that if the serverlist is down.

Maybe it will get fixed by itself and I am overreacting, but 2/3s of p2pers are not on it seems.
I am curious if the issue is being looked into and if a more reliable method may be usable for connecting.

From my limited knowledge of the Interet, I'd say that one of the Major connection providers (whom provides a network connection to a number of ISPs) is having problems, But as I said thats Just my guess.

I Highly doubt its Linux cyberjoueurs Systems at fault here.

There is already a thread about this in the tech support forum.
