Graal 3D ???
 

Could you people please give us some updates on whats going on with G3D right now? its been over a year since you posted first screenshots...

They are working on it. They recently hired a few people to help Stefan on it.

Yeah, they got like 3 or 2 guys working on it now :O

It better be decent.

Should be called something else. Doesnt even look like graal. Small bodies and big heads... pfft... :rolleyes:

Graal resembles zelda, don't want that.

I like it, but updates would be nice like who are the people etc...

Well... its graal... its 3D = Graal 3D.

I replaced Graal with Zelda Online because that's what it was before, and if I played Zelda Online I would have thought that it kicked Zelda- Link to the past's ass.

Now, it's "graal 3d" so i made it "Zelda Online:3D"

and nows it's back to kick link's ass again. w00t?

i tried that out and even got on G2K and in my opinion it was horrible, we need to stick with the old school graal look

Um. No. Graal will make very little more money if it stays as is. People get tired of it. People will move on to other games...

well i dont think changing the start menu would make a difference at all, if they changed the gameplay a bit and make some wicked new servers or something that would help

Wicked new servers are only achieved through change. Change in the scripting engine, level making, all change.

i understand that very much, but your still saying that the change of the start menu would make more people stay on graal and play more, but it wouldn't

What are you referring to by: the start menu?

from what i have played of graal 3D the only thing different is the outline of everything, such as the graal menu that comes up when u click start then choose servers, then the player list, just the basic outline, no real gameplay changes

That Graal3D beta was a 5 years old test version, the new one is not the same :)

Wouldn't it be very laggy with more then 50 people on it??

Graal3D will bring more more flexibility in terms of level design, but the gameplay wil hopefully remain similar. To really attract new players, we need drastic changes such as this.

To get them to stay we then need people who will exploit as much out of the dev tools (lats, scripters etc...) as they possibly can. I'd be intrigued to see how scripting and level editing will be implemented in the new version, And I really anticipate being able to work with any new tools as and when they arrive.
