Novice Pirate Ranking
Since the whole Pirate ranking system now doesn't really exist, and is based upon players intuition, here are the new basis rules for all new recruits, aside maybe special circumstances.
Anyone newly recruited into the Pirates now, must start off as one of the Commoners, and must remain in that rank for atleast a week or so, before they can be ranked up toward being a crew member, or other rank areas (Like Priest, etc.). This'll be good, as the Pirate isle will be more populated with Fishermen, and Peddlers, and all other job titles. |
Ghost Pirate had some pretty strict rules set forth, I am trying to restore his ranks, but with some of ours, so it will be good. :]

I like this idea... this way, we could test out their RPing and Team-playing skills before they become a captain's problem ;)
MarkB... just promise me you won't remind Ghost 'bout me... still kinda hate him for not attempting to use strategy in the zormite wars :\ and the last thing I need is for him to start talking to me again... it'd be best for the both of us... there ought to be a rank entitled Journeyman, or something... in which you must be able to do multiple things you normaly can't do with your class, such as alchemizing as a fighter or casting spells as a barbarian (REAL HARD! those that manage this ought to get a special rank) the old system was good...yah... hmm... perhapse even more sub-divide the ranks, like battle mages and buff mages (are there even buffs in this game?!? there ought to be... and make it so that you can only have 1 buff at a time... stefan, i have good ideas... hire me :p i need a job so I can ditch my old piece-of-**** laptop that has only 1 gig harddrive and is slower than molassas going uphil in winter...) and then, battle clerics and healing clerics, and summon clerics. for fighters, speed attackers, heavy damage, and long-range god... you have to admit... this 15 yr-old who has no life and plays AD&D 2-3e has some ideas... even if he can't DM worth a pile of feces |
