Graal Anime!
 

Okay I was watching .hack//sign for the first time and I was just letting my mind wander and when they started logging in I thought, "What if Graal Kingdoms was an actual Anime series?!"
That'd be so cool! :megaeek:

It would just turn out like another Dragonball Z.

Nu uh! It'd be like all medievil and stuff and the main characters would talk like we do in the game. I'd be one of the main characters since it is my idea. :D

Unless you're modelling a single, minute, virtually non-existant part of the community, all you'll have is slashing, swearing, insulting, and fighting.

Holy hell, I just described Dragonball Z, what a coincidence.

For crying out loud it WON'T be like DBZ! It'd have action scenes of course, but it would ALSO have STORY and PLOT! Like the characters would be fighting a Lord in one episode and then there would be sagas like "The Hacker" saga, describing what I'm going through right now, then guest stars from other online games, and all that cool stuff. It wouldn't be JUST fighting all the time. Not all Anime is like that. :o

Then it's not Graal.

Oh shush and vote already, stop being such a wet blanket. :mad:
By story and plot I mean the stories of the players online, what we do, what our REAL lives are like, etc.

My friend recently went into a coma from playing Graal Kingdoms. Has anyone else heard of this?


Anyway, no. Even if it could somehow (under some almighty miracle) piece itself together, it would result in something less than a cheap WB/FOX cartoon.

Graal anime would look funny :). Do it :p

Maybe a graal2k2 comic or something.. hey! that gives me an idea! brb.

It'd turn out more like a comic skit than anything else.

.hack//sign resembals graal a bit but you could not combine the two like your discribing.

K well I made my gk anime character tell me what you think.

Put me in it cus im cool... everyone will want to buy my action figure and be me in the various video games... So it goes Video game > Anime based off of game > Video game based off of anime based off of video game... :cool:

He doesnt have to be able to draw good anime to tell if someone else's work is good or not... I dont have to be a master opera singer to know that the hobo on the street is completely tone deaf...

And I have to agree with Myomoto... Donalds picture doesn't look anything like anime, in fact I think its done quite poorly all together...

If i had a scanner i would, i can't make anime on my computer, wich also seems to be donald's problem ._:

Yeah I guess my character is a bit different from anime. It really pretty late when I made that and I was kind of rushing so I could go to bed he he he. Thank you for your comments.

By the way maybe it WOULD work out better as a Manga rather than an Anime. :\

Graal Kingdoms is not exactly gripping story material.

Graal as a buisness has no logical way to create something like this.

Anime = cartoon

Manga = comic

That's a pretty presumptuous conclusion. I happen to like anime quite a lot. I just think this is a very bad idea, for reasons already said in this thread.

If it happens, make me an assassin that the bad guys hire that goes out to try to kill one of the loner good-guys and we end up getting into a huge arse fight and then I die and then the good guy is like "Who the hell was that?"

Okay guys write down your ideas and send.... :\ ....PM ME them. I'll make a collection of the ideas and maybe we can go from there. For the record I said "MAY not like Anime" I never said they did not. :o I'm pretty good with art but right now I can only do one type of thing, these Animalized human characters, if I can scan them I'll post them. :D

Personally, I'd prefer to see Old 2k1 as a Manga/Anime. Anyway you slice it, you'd have to make minor changes to whatever Graal setting you use. Think of it more as Graal Inspired than 100% Graal-Faithful.

If you can draw one thing well, you should be able to draw other things well... Drawing is just a matter of making shapes on your paper... Be it shapes with the positive space, or the negitive space... ;p
