Help with graalshop...

I just downloaded graalshop onto this computer. It seems that the sprites wont show up in the window. And if I load a gani it shows up as invisible as well. Now I tried adding sprites but that doesnt work either. Anyone know what the problem is?

Import sprite definitions is to "import" a sprite from another gani.
"Add sprite definitions" is used to "add" a sprite. You click the "add sprite definitions" button to the top of graalshop.exe then type in the file name where you see "Image:" and the default text as "SPRITE"...I also believe this is case sensitive. In description you type in whatever you'd want to appear when you move the mouse over the image in the left column or so. The sprite index is where it would appear the left column, make sure it's unique otherwise it would over-write a sprite currently using that index. To get a perfect grid of the image you open it in ms paint or so and move the mouse to the very last bottom right pixel of the image...the first number you see is x, the second is y... Leave x,y as 0 in graalshop but put the lenght and height as the two numbers respectively. Make sure the transparency on the image is also set properly.

That doesnt seem to be working either. I followed it step by step as well.

Sometimes the sprite and gani have to be in the same folder and you would have to open the sprite before opening the gani for it to show up for some weird reason. If it still doesn't work then I believe you're doing something wrong (example: transparency on image is off.)

If all else fails uninstal it and try re-installing it into a different folder.

If you ONLY have graalshop, it probably won't show up because you don't have any images.

I downloaded graalshop from that file that Tyhm posted (I think it was Tyhm) And all that was in it was the GraalShop program.

Hm..I dunno but maybe getting it from the development package in the setup.exe download thingy may help? :x

I've also had this problem. I have no idea how to get past it.

This thread is a year old man, anyway make sure the graphic has a 8 bit color depth (256 colors). If you use PSP8 like I do, press Ctrl+Shift+3.
