Change your display properties/~color, to High Color (16 bit) then go to .../~advanced/monitor tab and make your refreash rate the highest it supports.

What is your OS and what is the name of your Graphics card.

You do know the higher your refresh rate, the more blurry your screen becomes right?

Mines at 72Hz, supposed to be 60Hz as default but 60Hz burns my eyes.

That's the same way mine is. I have it on 85Hz. Anything else is weird on my eyes.

The refresh rate has to do with how many times per second the screen is being updated. The more it's being updated each second, the better it's going to look.

zell12 02-17-2004 11:55 PM

The higher the rate doesn't make your screen blurry. If your video card supports Vsync, turn it on, other wise, you need to asjust your refresh rate each time you play a game (CS, Graal) because your fps changes. Anything above your refresh rate tears your frames.

And if you set your rate above the supported amount of Hertz it damages your computer and makes it unstable.

Anyway, Radeon 9200 shouldn't give you that problem Brad. Try doing what I said, though your refresh rate shouldn't be a problem, play with the colors.

Mine don't look that bad actually, but I have a lowend graphics card on this computer. But you will just have to keep switching between 32-16 colors
