BALANCE GODS. please?
Seriously, currently the gods are EXTREMELY imbalanced.
Aengus is only if you use a bow, Leuc isn't that great, DianCecht denies wounds so you have to use Holy Word (if that even works), Brigid is just for avatar, and then we have the real gods. Ogma - Super poison weapons of death. Bile - You never have to eat, ever. Govannon - 70% of GK uses this =/ Slay Giant owns T-rexes, and the blessings are just the best period... Balor - Flaming aura + that Vilisomething spell I heard he gets. I say give Aengus some new type of benefit - Speed+ perhaps? DianCecht should be...fixed, period. I heard Tyhm talk about changing him to Vangel and redoing him, that'd be thx. Maybe make Lightning a strong attack? Or something that Lit resist would matter? Brigid can't use weapons, so unless you're a pure priest it's useless. Maybe give her good spells you can get at a low level? Good relics? Gods need to be balanced...really. |
ROFL
Leuc is the next best thing if you don't use Gov and hate to use Ogma's poison. And Leuc is far from "not great". Meet me at the battle arena sometime so I can show you forked lightning. Better yet, let Brad do it since it's what he does best. Electricity attacktype is VERY good. It's never failed me against other people...so I don't see your problem with it. Brigid gives very nice regen advantages, as she is used for those spellcasters. Plus her spells are suppose to be nice if they worked. And lets not forget her Relics? Just used for her avatar my butt. :o Now on to Dian. If you blind somebody with his blind attacktype, you can forget about them hitting you while blind. It's a great attacktype if you just don't want people hitting you. And finally Aengus. Luck+2? Enough said. Makes map drop more often as other things, makes spells easier to learn. Yummy. The complaints you bring forth about most of the Gods can be fixed by not worshipping the God. Like you say Aengus is for if you use bows, so if you don't use bows, simply don't pray to him. And I think I typed too much....yep. :o |
Erm... God's have thier own uses, though more particulary.
When I'm a Sorc, and I start with Scroll of Piety, I follow Brigid or another god that'd help my magic. When I'm a barbarian (I can't call them Barbs, because that's an entire new class, you know those people who dance and play music and tell tales... Erm.. Robin Hood's compaingion!), I rather just pray to Balor, Aengus, or Gov, mainly depending I'm doing. It's mostly based on character structure. If you want your character to simulate something, then your so better off with the diverse gods. |
Gods will be balanced when we get forts.
IE: Never. |

Wow, this thread is so messed up I don't even know where to start to prove you wrong <3! Dude, you're so off it isn't even funny. In actuallity Govannon is just about the worst God >_>

CHART: Govannon - > Money - > Ownage Maybe it's because I worship DianCecht (Because my character is a Paladin. I'm a warrior and I'm going to worship the holy god) I can't use wounds to level up my wisdom, and it takes 8 wisdom levels to get another +1 every time. I'm not even sure if Holy Word is going to work to level my wisdom up. I used to use Leuc, back when level 10 was very high, and he seemed to stink. Now that there's Forked Lightning, I guess he's good - apparently it's a very strong spell. I know Brad uses it to mess with people. |
i aint leet nomore

Also, is Summon Cult Monsters ever going to be added?
It would REALLY be good. Summon down a mini angel to kick some ass, or Balor summoning a fire thingamabob. |
Brigid only adds HP and Grace regen, It's Aengus that gives magic+1 and luck+1.
Will there ever be a way to see how much luck you have? Why do we have personality skill if nobody can ever level that up???? (we're all nerds at a comp alot, is that what stefans telling us with that?) |

You CAN also level personality you know. x.x

I'm not even going to start correcting a bunch of you. Maybe you think gods are unbalanced because most of the things don't work properly, or people complain when something is actually useful (see flaming aura, and soon vitriol) Also gods won't be done anytime soon, because it's too "minor" for most staff to think of doing (are there even still staff excluding stefan?), so when gods are done (which wan't happen), you'll see lots of balance (this is assuming stefan doesn't nerf every spell that someone gets that's useful).
|
Graalihalic is right, as soon as folks learn how to use a spell to their advantage all those on Bmode that hate losing what advantage they DID work hard for are going to moan and groan and gripe how unfair things seem to have gotten for them.
It happened with Flaming Aura which was just fine the way it was at first mind you crybabies that don't know what magic resist rings are for. |
Gods are a small part of the unbalanced gameplay of Kingdoms.. get used to it, dont *****, nothing will EVER get done that will change it (in the next year) so jus get used to ****ty unbalanced fun... =\

For example, refer to the alchemy recipes and all the monsters which aren't avaliable on GK. GK has no holy symbols (talisman for praying). Quests work differently on CF (no trading as far as I know). Stat potions are much more common, hence the high requirements for improved stat scrolls. Diamonds are much more common on CF. You can actually trade plats for diamonds. You can convert altars to your diety (that's what Consecrate is for). Poison and sickness effects are much faster in CF. I can't remember CF having Lords or Eventitems. ... ... As for Gods, they are balanced, the main "unbalance" is in the people's different levels, making some effects stronger or weaker than others. |

Vitriol should never be released. What is the point of having a spell/prayer that will piss EVERYONE off by removing their hard earned +'s on their items? That is retarded. Lots of stuff on CF are easier to do and that's why vitriol works well there. GK is totally different. It is harder to earn stuff here. So unless they make it 10x easier to earn EA, I doubt vitriol will be released without any nerfing.

A SUPER-banhammer, eh? I like the sound of that...
|
"And in a big tomb far, far, far away, and a long time ago, the very tiny Dwarven King buried his huge Stefan's Dwarven BanHammer of Immense Doom (improved 100/100) (dam+666) (attacktypes: doom, ban, own, fire, cold, weaponmagic) (slay: Angel, Cow, Sheep, Hacker, Cheater, Bug Abuser, Demon, Giant, Ant), and a little boy named Stefan found it. And used it. Then he went corrupt and killed everyone."
|
Brad EA'd his leetness so the banhammer can't hit him
Who wants to donate diamonds and IWD's so we can prep the banhammer? Maybe we can bless it to someone? |
